Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂
On January 21st and 22nd we celebrate Grandparents Days in Poland. Any kid blessed with grandparents knows how much they mean for them, and especially in Poland grandparents are often very much involved in upbringing of the young generation, looking over grandchildren when parents go to work. There’s no gift that would equal they amount of love and care grandparents share with their families, but I’m sure anything handmade would be of great value for them 🙂 And so for this incoming celebration I created a set of chocolate boxes:
I made the boxes using the Bohemian Harmony collection, perfect for both feminine and masculine projects, with this trendy eco boho vibe to them 🙂 For the Grandma box I used the flower bouquet patterned paper that provided beautiful background for the hearts pattern I added with a stencil, the flower cluster and embossed sentiment:
I decorated the box for Grandpa with gears pattern upon the striped pattern paper, the flower cluster with newspaper print and metal leaves to make it look more masculine 🙂 linen string and matte gold sequins:
Inside the boxes, apart from the chocolate pocket, I included tags for writing in wishes:
I really like the way these turned out, serving both and gift packaging and best wishes cards 🙂
Here’s the list of my supplies:
Maja Design papers:
Other: flowers: Prima, Petaloo; leaves: Prima, my stash; stamps, stencils, chipboard: Agateria; ribbon: Rayher; string, sequins: my stash.
Wishing all the best to all Grandparents around the world – that’s all for today, see you later!
