Goodmorning everyone,

I am so amazed by the Maja design team and I still need to pinch myself sometimes that I am part of it. It’s always a blessing to work with these beautiful papers Marie designs. Today I would like to show you a layout I made with the “Nyhavn”collection I feel really sad that this is a limited edition one because the colors of the papers are very unique. For my layout I also used some beautiful chiffon flowers & lace by Tresors de Luxe which go great with the Nyhavn collection. The chipboard I used is by Creative Embellishments they have very romantic designs <3

The picture I used is one of my cousin Nicole {who lives in Florida} her teenage daughter & her boyfriend. Not so long ago he asked her to marry him and they are so crazy about each other. My cousin had her at a very young age {party girl} and I never would of imagine that she is the one who is so responsible and religious as she is. She is such a amazing young lady and I wish her all the happiness in the world.

I added some rub on words that I got at my local dollar store to give my layout a more personal touch. Not that long ago Nadene her grandmother {from her dad’s side} contacted me because she is also a scrapper and we had a lovely talk and this will be a present to her hope she will like it. I really love this picture of the two of them so adorable….

I have layouts published before but not in real magazines only online ones. So if I say amazing that will be a understatement I better say WOW WOW WOW thank you Scott Publication, Cheery Lynn Designs & Maja Design…this is the layout in the magazine made with the pretty “Enjoying Outdoors”collection.

Goodmorning lovelies,

I just can’t get enough of the beautiful Maja Design papers! I use them on almost every project I make, also for the other designs teams I am on. All the different collections are so versatile and you can use them together which also looks amazing. For this layout I used the “Vintage Summer Basics” it’s a collection I use less then all the others and I can’t say why……but oh wow it’s lovely 😉 and after today I bet that will be a lot more. Lately I am making a bunch of cards too and those you will see in this post too.

Don’t you just love the romantic feel these papers have. The picture I used is one of our wedding day back in 2012….oh my that’s almost four years. He is the love of my life and even though we fight sometimes {which I think is very normal in every relationship} he is my soulmate and we have a “Everlasting Love”! I am so happy we found each other <3

Creative Embellishments has so many gorgeous chipboard pieces which you will see on my projects for the upcoming six months.

Hello Maja friends,

I just can’t believe it’s 2016 already 2015 flew bye so fast. It was a great year for me scrappy wise and I know for sure 2016 is going to be too although it started of on the wrong foot due to health problems. Hopefully it will go better soon because I miss my scrapbook room very much. Today I had some time in there and created this layout for today’s post. For this layout I used the beautiful newest collection “Home for the Holidays” this collection is so versatile you can use it for many different themed projects.

On this layout I used a bunch of paper layers, Creative Embellishments chipboard and Tresors de Luxe lace to alter the already pretty papers. On the picture you see my two men ice skating a couple of years back when it was still cold and freezing in January for this year it’s a very warm winter with still  temperatures above 5 degrees and someday’s above 8 degrees. I have to say I really love that because I’m not a fan of winter although it makes great layouts.

All the chipboard pieces were treated with gesso, embossing powders and glitter stickles. I also so used my sewing machine a couple of times to stitch the edges of the papers and picture. I really adore working with my sewing machine because I think it add some much to your work.

Goodmorning amazing Maja Design followers,

This time I want to show you a layout I made with four different collections, even though it doesn’t have as much layers as usual for me. The collections I used are Nyhavn {for the base of my layout}, Summer Crush & Vintage Summer Basics. Also I used the clock sheet from “Vintage Autumn Basics” For this layout I started by deciding which colors I wanted to use by choosing the flowers, chipboard pieces and design. I chose the colors teal, turquoise, white, cream and grey. On the picture you see one of my little nieces named Roos she is the daughter of my husbands sister. On this picture she looks really adorable but don’t let this picture mislead you because she is quit the little rascal….and a hand full for her parents. By the way she is about a year and a half old in this picture and she will be turning five in April 2016.

20151217_1501111

I started this layout by distressing the edges plus stitching on it, later on I sprayed with different shades of white & teal to end it with a stencil and paste. The beautiful lace pieces are by “Tresors de Luxe” and the chipboard pieces are by Dusty Attic. The Nyhavn collection has some really beautiful grey sheets in it which are really great for mixed media.

I was thinking of also using some pink in on this layout because her pants are that color but then I though well I will keep it in this color because I liked it this way. I hope you do too 😉 I embossed all my chipboard pieces with my Lindy’s Stamp Gang products. And I stitched all my borders of the papers only not the circles under need my picture.

Goodmorning everyone,

As winter is already upon us here in The Netherlands I am longing for Summer again, as much as I love to light candles at night and get all cozy and stuff! I really love summer so today I would like to show you a layout I made with the super adorable “Summer Crush”collection. For this layout I used a picture of our wedding that I have never used before, it’s one of us all not just Jeroen & Me but also little handsome Kevin. 😉

20151204_0937071

I took the pink/light pink/salmon colors in this collection because I wanted to go all romantic! The pretty lace I used are by Tresors de Luxe you will see more of those laces on my layouts since I am back on their design team again. Let’s have a closer look:

The cute little heart chipboard pieces are by Imaginarium Designs and off course the other pieces too. I feel so blessed to be part of their design team for the last three years. But new adventures are on it’s way for me. This layout is really into my comfort zone so happy I made it hihihi.

Those clocks are amazing on every layout and they are from the “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection. Do you see the cute car behind us? It was our wedding car and we also have a picture of us looking through the back window which I will probably scrap someday too.
