A country project

Hi there! This is Flo ! I come to present my latest project! This month has gone so fast! For this last project I used the beautiful collection “Life in the country”, what an amazing collection ! Amazing designs, amazing colors!!!!! Well… I’m in love with this collection.
I decided to make a small gift for a friend. A box with a mini album inside, a box that looks like a chicken coop. Definitely a country project!
But here are the pictures.

The structure of this project is very simple. As you can see from the pictures, there are two boxes, glued to each other.

I just “wrapped” the two boxes in the following template.

I finally added a roof.
The roof tiles are made with strips of perforated paper.

Hi ! Flo here, i’m back as promised to show you a new project. A mini album made with the gorgeous « Walking in the forest » collection. The « Die cut sheet » paper with a lots of design allows to enhance the pages of the mini album.

Here are the pictures of my mini album, « The Mushroom picking ».

Here are a few tips for creating this mini album.
First here’s a little tip for the layout of your pages. If you are a little lost when you make a mini album and want to more easily create a uniform and balanced project I suggest you do like me.
Cut several papers, labels and gather some coordinated embellishments. Then place your different pages in front of you and place your embellishments here and there.
Move your items until everything looks balanced. Then place your photos and paste everything.

To make the leaves I firstly printed on internet the shape and then I tracings on paper. Then just add an eyelet.

Finally, here is a simple way to showcase the beautiful drawing of this beautiful collection from Maja Design. Cut out the design of your choice and place it in a metal embellishments with an epoxy sticker.

Door Hanger

Hello! Hello ! Flo here again for my second week as guest creative team member.
Another project to present today! A gift, a door hanger to offer for a little baby.
The papers of « The Äntligen » collection are just beautiful on this project ! I just added some purple flowers, pearls and a little butterfly… And voilà ! Here the pictures !

Here are some explanations to create this project.

Cut out in cardboard and paper two forms as in the photo. Repeat the operation with a smaller template. Sew all around. Paste on one another.

Cut a long strip of paper of a few centimeters wide. Sew the edges.

Roll the strip into a circle. Paste. Attach the round on a circle of paper (here made with a Spellbinders die).

Paste in the center of the plate. Add a banner and a final cutting above. It remains only to decorate.

Hi Maja Design fans! Here is Flo aka Floliescrap for my first week as guest creative team member.
I’m so happy to be here with you. I love Maja Design with each collections are just amazingly beautiful and delicate.
So, here is my first project. One page about my daughter, my adorable daughter !! Normal, I’m her mother! and I’m awfully proud of her!
I wanted to create a very soft page and “Vintage Summer Basics” collection was perfect for this page.

Here are some close ups.

I wanted to give volume to my page. It will be displayed in a room and I wanted it to be highlighted. So I used foam squares between each layer of papers.
I also cut banners that I curled. This page does not go into an album. Therefore, I took the opportunity to add thick and bulky embellishments. A large flower, frame, wiring and a spoon. I also added some stitching and lace to give softness and fit perfectly with these beautiful papers. Small blackberries are made by me with resin and paint. This touch of darker color emphasize the picture.
