Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m on Maja Design blog  with a new album made with the I Wish collection.

I Wish album by Pascale

I used the strips at the base of the papers to decorated the cover. After having glued them, I painted them lightly with gesso.

Then I added some embellishments: flowers, die cuts, doilies, …

I kept the inside design simple. A few papers, some die-cut doilies, …

I stamped randomly the pages with two stamps and I embossed one of the two designs as well as the edges of the background papers.

I added some flowers, some sprigs, as well as some glass beads, and micro beads.

Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the I Wish collection. I chose an old photo of my father struggling to repair his bike on a snowy day. I think that the photo was taken in the 50’s.

Bad Luck by Pascale

First I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added the first design with a colorful Archival ink and a stencil. I stamped with a black Archival ink randomly around my design.

Bad Luck by Pascale

I mixed a metallic acrylic paint with 3D Gloss Gel to add a second design. I let dry before adding some colors.

Bad Luck by Pascale

While the background was drying, I die-cut some gears in a heavyweight watercolor paper. I painted them with the Rust Effect pastes and added a light touch of the metallic paint.

Bad Luck by Pascale

I glued all the elements and splattered some white ink.

Bad Luck by Pascale

To finish the layout I added some micro beads and mica flakes.

Then I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. And I let alone to dry.

In the meantime, I die-cut some small sprigs in a watercolor paper. I colored them as well as the flowers and the leaves.

I colored the background with the same colors I used to color the flowers and the leaves.

I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel and added some micro beads to finish the layout.

Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the new collection « I wish … ». I chose a photo of the beautiful castle of Chenonceau: one of my favorite (Loire Valley, France).

Chenonceau by Pascale B.

As usual, I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a stencil and a white crackle paste.

When dry, I added different colors using Twinkling H2o: brown, blue and green to match the colors of the photo.

I also colored the lilies and die-cut some leaves in the “I wish for peace and joy” paper. I glued the flowers, the leaves and added a few strip of doily.

Hello Sweeties,

I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new set of cards featuring the Ska vi ta en Fika collection.

Autumn_PB

I kept the design simple. I just cut a background paper.

Then I die cut a doily, added a few strip of paper, as well as some sisal.

Autumn_detail2_PB

I also die cut some leaves in the Pratstund paper.

Then I added a few flowers and some mica flakes and micro beads.

I followed the same process for the second card. A background paper, a die-cut doily, …
