Hello Crafters, it’s Elena here with you today. And I have a Summer Album to share with you today.

Well, new collection – Summer Crush was a worth to wait for it and finally I’ve got tons of inspiration from the papers and the pictures, as a result I created this  Light and Full of Air Album. Be ready to watch many photos and a small tutorial too.

sneak_peekI tried really hard to use as many papers as possible, because I love them all and wanted to show all the patterns in once.

SummerCrush_Album_First_ElenaOlinevichI made some flaps and created a surprise card inside. Yes, I decided why not adding the cards into your albums, I think it’s great

here it is:

SummerCrush_Album_Card_ElenaOlinevichI also made a very simple tutorial on how I created this card and you can find it here – Youtube.

(and please excuse my pauses, it is my first ever tutorial with a voice)

So I added more extra flaps:

Summer_Crush_Spread_1a_ElenaOlinevichI like those small vintage pictures, and they help to create a retro feeling exactly

HeGives_Her_FlowersThe second spread

SummerCrush_Album_ElenaOlinevich4I almost haven’t added dimensional flowers, I stamped and cut them out instead

SummerCrushAlbum_ElenaOlinevich5My third spread is about the cars mostly

Good morning Maja friends!

Today I have played with the new papers from the Summer Crush collection. I just love the colors and pattern of these papers!

I have used the papers “He gives her flowers” and “Dancing the Bop”.

This is a folded card made as a type of easel card. The inspiration to the folding I found on the Pinterest.

Together with the lovely Maja papers I have decorated the card with a vintage image found on the internet, a doily, cheese clooth, lace, flowers, leaves, chipboards and pearls.

I wish you all a great summer day! Enjoy 🙂

Crafting has always been a passion of mine, and since I discovered the amazing world of papercraft years ago I have been completely addicted to it. I love the shabby chic- and vintage style and most of my projects are characterized by the use of vintage photos, lace, flowers and romantic details

Hi there Maja friends!
Ingrid here today with an altered photo frame with shutters.
Made this one with the gorgeous “Summer Crush” collection.

IMG_1076Photo is of my youngest girl with her boyfriend when they just fell in love.

IMG_1087Made some rolled flowers with the papers as well.
Just love making those and they always matches the project!

IMG_1098The white swirl is from Scrapberry’s and the heart string is a piece of a child necklace.

IMG_1090For the shutters I cut some small strips of paper and distressed the edges.

IMG_1096Another lovely detail: an earring I found in my treasure box.
Never throw away single earrings! 🙂

IMG_1101I wove a small strip of the “sweetheart” sheet through the white chipboard fence.

IMG_1089Some matching flowers were given a coat with gesso to give them a more softer look.

IMG_1092I bet you are falling in love with this gorgeous collection as well!

Enjoy your day!

Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with another photo I’ve taken at the Priory of Saint Cosmes (Centre – France). It’s a view of the church that is partially destroyed.

StCosmes2_Pascale

I started by adding some big splatters of white diluted gesso, then some black gesso with a sponge. I added a design with a stencil and black Archival ink.

StCosmes2_detail1_Pascale

I covered the chipboard with black gesso.

StCosmes2_detail2_Pascale

I colored the flowers and the die-cut leaves with Twinkling H2Os.

StCosmes2_detail3_Pascale

I added a light touch of white gesso to the roses as well as the chipboards.

I finished my layout with some Glass Glitter and Mica Flakes.

Maja Design papers used :

Summer Crush: Butterflies, He picks her up

Hello, I'm Pascale B. from France. Since I began to scrap, flowers are part of my layouts, and I gradually started to use mixed media as well. I don’t know how to define my style, perhaps something like free vintage shabby style could be a good definition. Visit me at www.pbhobby.blogspot.com
