Hey there!
Just few weeks ago a kind DHL guy came with a special delivery – a box of the most yummy pastel deliciousness, 2 sets of Vintage Baby collection. I just had to reach for one my favorite photos from my daughter’s baby time and use it again in a layout.

It’s just amazing, how effortless it is to combine MD patterns-the papers coordinate so beautifully so it hardly requires any planning. I have used 2 sheets here, both front and backsides and I also kept the border strip in the base paper. I have added some stamping and stencil just to fill up the arrangement without covering the beautiful paper patterns too much. I have also few small pieces of Crea Diem papers, I always use this collection to add black and white accents.

Supplies Maja Design:
Vintage Baby- Flowers for Mum, Cherish
Crea Diem-Det skrivna består
Supplies others:
Mask-Prima, flowers-Wild Orchid Crafts, Feather – Blue Fern Studios, Gesso-13arts

Thanks for stopping by today!

Shabby Chic Baptism Keepsake With Vintage Baby

Hello Maja Fans! Welcome to the blog today 🙂

It’s Maja here to share a girly Baptism keepsake in the shabby chic style. I used our latest release, the Vintage Baby collection, to make it:

mdbapgI used the form of a faux book card – can you believe I’ve never used that form before? 🙂 But I like to make keepsakes of special moments look special too, so I decided to give it a try. I combined large sheets with the small pad designs – here I fussy-cut the baby girl page for the front panel:

mdbapg1I mounted the chipboard sentiment on a die-cut doily matted with a piece of cheesecloth for a more shabby look. I also added a pearl brad and beautiful guipure lace to tie the “book”:

mdbapg2And when you untie it…

mdbapg7…it opens up to reveal a dimensional inside with some space to write in your wishes:

mdbapg3To make the writing more comfortable, I decided to make a little pocket with an insert – which then may serve as a store place for a CD with the celebration photos 🙂

mdbapg4In the faux-book section I arranged a little scene, with the baby girl image coloured with Distress inks and the stamp with the christening formula: I baptize you in the name of the Father..:

mdbapg5To create this lovely frame, I cut some decorative lace inot pieces and arranged them around the opening:

mdbapg6Supplies:

Maja Design papers: Vintage Baby large sheets: Cherish bs, Our little miracle, Precious, Precious bs, small pad sheets. Other: die: Cheery Lynn Designs, Magnolia; stamps: Magnolia, Lemonade; flowers: the ScrapBerry’s; chipboard: Scrapiniec; glitter: Ranger; lace and ribbon: my stash.

I hope you have a wonderful day 🙂

Hello there Maja Design fans! I’m in today to share a baby girl’s first year album I made for my little girl who is arriving in September, using the beautiful new Vintage Baby collection.

Here is the album cover:

And some of the details:

I made an accordion fold for the inside pages, with one side using lots of die cuts from the papers and the other with ample space for photos and journaling. The idea is to keep the whole album as simple as possible so that I have plenty of space for her photos and recording of her milestones.

And here’s the video tutorial:

And that’s all I have for today. Thank you for dropping by!

Maja Design papers used:

Vintage Baby: 6×6 paper pad, Expecting Baby, Cherish, Precious, Bundle of Joy, Die Cuts, Ephemera Cards, Journaling cards Pink

Other supplies: Mediums (13@rts, Shimmerz, Lindy’s Stamp Gang), chipboards (Blue Fern Studios), flowers (Prima Marketing Inc)

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today. I absolutely adore the new collection and am playing  a lot with it. Today I will show you the baby boy card. Of course that image is so cute that I was urged to use it:)

If you already had a chance to see this collection in real life you will be amazed, it has SO many little details, cute toys, baby images, floral motives, everyone will find something for her taste. You can make not only baby projects from it.
