Happy Sunday, Maja Friends. Elena is here today with you to share my Mini Album – About Falling Leaves.

Yes, I guess you have noticed that this month Walking in the Forest collection has captured my heart and mind and I can’t stop creating with it.

So I decided to make an album and then fill it with the shots taken during our walks this Fall season.

I filled it with some fabric embellishments and enjoyed papercrafting

I added some folds for extra photos as well

and for more cosy feeling I added mostly fabric trims and some leaves dies

and combined Forest Fall hues with some denim blues tones

Those bird pictures look quite pretty, I always look for rare birds in the forest.

But I have never seen the owl, and what about you?

Hello everyone! I do love mini albums and I have to be in the mood to create one as they are time intensive but extremely rewarding at the end. The mini album I have to share with you is a project that you can complete in a few hours! The other amazing thing about this project is it only uses ONE sheet of paper. To create this album, I followed a tutorial by Kathy Orta which you can see here.

The album uses ONE 81/2″ by 11″ piece of cardstock for the base. I decorated it using papers from the Ska vi ta en fika Collection. As you can see, there are pockets to insert tags and places for photos and journaling.

To complete my album, I have printed my photos using a sepia filter. They each measure 5cm square. To embellish, I have used flat flowers, stamping and also punches and dies to personalise my album.

To create the curved edge to the front cover of my album, I used a Spellbinder curved border die. I also used any vintage stamp in my stash that would compliment the photos. I had mini themes for each photo where possible.

As the album is quite compact, it is amazing how you can make your embellishments work for you because of the scale of the project. I have used some Stampin’ Up! Tag punches and they fit perfectly in the pockets. Extra stamping on them on left over papers makes beautiful embellishments quickly and easily.

I decided to add photos to the back of some of the flaps, so in this compact album, I used five photos in total! I also used Green Tara flowers to embellish my photos as they are relatively flat and perfect in terms of their size.

Once decorated, I have just used ribbon as my closure, nothing complicated.

This really is a great project to make as a stand alone, but it could also be used as an insert for a mini album project if you made a pocket to accommodate. I hope that you’ll give it a try!

Hello Crafters, it’s Elena here with you today. And I have a Summer Album to share with you today.

Well, new collection – Summer Crush was a worth to wait for it and finally I’ve got tons of inspiration from the papers and the pictures, as a result I created this Light and Full of Air Album. Be ready to watch many photos and a small tutorial too.

I tried really hard to use as many papers as possible, because I love them all and wanted to show all the patterns in once.

I made some flaps and created a surprise card inside. Yes, I decided why not adding the cards into your albums, I think it’s great

here it is:

I like those small vintage pictures, and they help to create a retro feeling exactly

I used some negatives leftover after diecutting

I almost haven’t added dimensional flowers, I stamped and cut them out instead

My third spread is about the cars mostly

though I have added flowers dies and a romantic picture inside

Baby Boy Album idea

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I have prepared the idea of refillable baby album in a fabric cover. I bought the regular student folder and covered it up with Tilda fabric (I combined 2 types of fabric for this). And of course from the Baby Vintage collection I used die cuts to decorate the cover.

Its a gift for my friend, so I basically ddnt fill it in, so she can easily do it herself.

I just made couple of the dividers inside, and they look like this in the album (of course, they use Maja papers as well):

For the first and the last pages of the album I used papers from the Vintage Spring collection, they were perfect addition for the colors. Thats another point why I like the Maja Vintage series. They all combine so well with each other.
