Goodmorning lovely Maja Design fans,
Lately I have the baddest luck with all my electronics in my house ughhh, programs on it not working and much more! Today I would like to share two cards I made with the lovely newest ” Traditional Christmas ” collection. I am not such a cardmaker but when I received this pretty collection I had to make me some cards…..loving those gnomes so much.
On my cards I used a whole bunch of dies because I love making flowers with the same kind of papers I am using at that time. I really had fun making these. The cards are tall they have a size 19 cm by 11 cm….that size is my favorite to work with! First I made the flowers and then added all the dies in the composition I’d liked then I took my glue gun and put everything into place.
If you make your flowers yourself you can add a lot of demension to your cards but the don’t fit in a regular envelope lol….I also love adding straws to my cards.
For the phrases on the cards I just used the strips on the bottom of the 12 by 12 sheets. Marie just adds so many nice phrases there to used on your works.
Maja Design papers used: Santa’s Elves-bs, Family gathering, Singing carols-bs, Peace and joy and the 6 by 6 paperpad.
Thank you so much for visiting the blog today! I also would like to let you know that I am hosting a Maja Design give away on my blog which will end next month around the 12th. I do hope you will enter it to win www.amyvoorthuis.blogspot.com have a wonderful day and stay healthy & safe
Hello and Happy Wednesday! Welcome to the Maja Design Blog! I hope this day finds you well and enjoying some cozy crafty time. It’s Nancy with you today.
I’m super excited for two reasons. The first is that I just received Maja Design’s brand new paper collection, Denim & Girls! From the moment I laid eyes upon it I knew it was an instant favorite, and I’m thrilled to be sharing a new card created from this beautiful collection.
The second reason I’m so excited is that I’m hosting a GIVEAWAY on my blog for the next two weeks! The winner will receive an entire collection of their choice of Maja Design papers!! You can find instructions for entering on my blog at mytatteredtreasures.blogspot.com.
This is actually going to be my granddaughter’s birthday card. In our family we have what we call ‘the circle of favorites’ which includes every one of us. When the grandchildren come to visit the first thing I hear as the door opens is, “your favorites are here!”, and I run to them with hugs and kisses saying, “my favorites are here!” Needless to say, the sentiment ‘favourite’ that I found in the paper collection is ideal for Savannah’s card.
The flowers are handcrafted using Monochromes Shades of Denim for a perfectly coordinated embellishment.
Below is a little peek at the inside of the card.
The tiny paper flowers are fussy cut from the collection. The finishing touch is a twine bow adding the frilly finish I love.
Maja Design Papers Used:
Other Products Used: Natural Twine, Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Dies, Flower Shaping Kit, Flower Stamens, Tim Holtz Distress Tool, Sewing Machine, Thread.
Thank you so much for visiting the blog today! It’s such an honor to be here with you. I wish everyone a week filled with sunshine and happy moments! Don’t forget to stop by my blog to enter into the giveaway!

With such a wonderful response and engagement we decided to award two randomly chosen comments to win the whole new collection “Denim & Girls” together with some coordinating sheets from the “Monochromes – Shades of Denim” line
And the two lucky winners are…
Monica Van Dorp
Wauw, what a great giveaway ??
I have the gentlemen denim line and used it often. I’am a great fan of Maja Design. Unfortunately is it not easy to buy in the region where I live.
What I would like to see is:
A line in vintage dogs and cats.
A new beach/maritime line.
Something with High Tea, because I love that theme and I prefer this one in vintage colours.
What I also like is something in 18 or 19 century, for example gardenparty or a visit at the beach.
With love Monica
I absolutely love “Denim and Girls”. All your designs are always gorgeous. The new orange colors are nice. Would love to see you do a theme of sunset orange, grey, dusty orange, and nice beige. Bet whatever you do will be stunning.
Congratulations to Monica and Tina!!! A little box of papers will soon turn up at your place 🙂
(please send your addresses to: email@example.com, thank you)
