Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

On March 8th many countries celebrated International Women’s Day and so today I bring you two feminine cards 🙂

I think what many women most long for are the feelings of being encouraged, supported or appreciated, therefore I created cards using some nice sentiments to express those:

I made the card using the Little Street Cafe collection as it is very feminine and romantic, yet without too much sugary pink 😉 For the first card I layered papers to create a subtly patterned background for a die-cut dream catcher decorated with pearls, feathers and flowers. I added teh sentiments that say: “Believe in yourself” and “You can achieve anything!”:

The other card includes a message of appreciation with the stamped sentiment “You are great”. I decorated the card with various papers layered in the background and an image of a lady sitting in a little street cafe 🙂 I embellished the card with sweethart flowers, acrylic gems and some leaves die-cut from vellum:

Being a woman, I would be really happy to receive such cards – would you? 🙂

And here’s what I used for the cards:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Spellbinders, CreaLies, Agateria; stamps: Agateria; flowers: Wild Orchid Creafts; gems: Prima.

That is all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

Well hello there Maja Design Fans,

Today it’s me again on this lovely blog to show you a layout I have created with the newest collection. I really enjoy creating with it because it’s so versatile. Lately I am hooked on vintage pictures especially from vintage clothing but also lace umbrella’s, beautiful hats with flowers and amazing dresses they made in the sixties and before and after…so I thought why not make a layout with it, it totally went great with the colors of the “Celebration”collection and the new flowers from 49 and Market what a wonderful combination that is right?

For the background sheet I used the Party bs sheet on that sheet I added some script stamp and later on I added a brick stamp after that I used some pink spray and to soften that up I sprayed with white too. The I ripped the sheet with the flowers “Good times”up and added them on both side the left a little smaller then the right one behind the flower sheet I also ripped the pink sheet to create more demension.

The chipboard I added was already black I just used my waxes on them the give them a shimmer and more depth and also a little color so they would not look out of place. I also used my favorite stencil on my background and at the end I added some crystal drops by nuvo in the color antique rose {which is my favorite} on that same stencil on the round parts that is….

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Party, The Table is Set, Good Times and the 6×6 paper pad.

Thank you so much for your visit I hope I have inspired you to play with your Maja Design papers you have in you stash or even order new products I have used here.

Love xoxo

Goodmorning Maja Fans,

Are you loving the new collection as much as I do? What I love about it, is that it has some black/grey sheets in it. Today I would like to show you four mixed media tags I made with the black/grey & pink papers. I also used the pictures in the collection, something I don’t do very often & some older Prima Marketing flowers that I had in my stash for some time now and some of 49 and Market. And of course some Dusty Attic chipboards…..

The size of the tags are 10 cm by 15 cm and I cut the patterned at 4 cm and the other part 6 cm. Then I stamped on there with two different background stamps by Creative Embellishments after that I sprayed with two Lindy’s sprays to soften the black a little then I added a stencil and some cheese cloth. I was also inspired by our mood board for this and next month hope you are to and play along.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration 6×6 paper pad.

Thank you so much for your visit I sure hope I have inspired you to play with your amazing Maja Design papers you have in you stash or even order new products I have used here. We are still giving away the new collection on our Facebook page so please do enter to win the new collection.

Have a lovely day!4

Good morning, dear Visitors, welcome to Maja Design blog 🙂

In my last post I shared two cards I made using our latest release, the absolutely gorgeous Denim&Friends collection. But what I like most about Maja collections is that they’re so versatile! And if you’re wondering whether you could use these papers for some feminine projects, I can tell you: yes, of course! Just take a look:

Don’t they look totally feminine and romantic? 🙂

The first card is almost monochromatic, based on the turqouise pattern of the collection. I die-cut a decorative corner and placed the flowre cluster on it, adding some chipboard filigree ornaments and string bows:

I stamped and embossed the sentiment directly on the background paper and then made it pop out by mounting a frame upon it. Then I added some golden drops as a final touch:

I used a similar design for the other card:

I die-cut two corners and put flowers and chipboard swirls on both of them. I stamped and embossed the sentiment as well, but placed it on a strip of vellum and mounted between the corners:

How do you like them? 🙂

Here’s the list of supplies:

Other: die: Spellbidners; stamps: Lemonade; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard: Scrapiniec, Miszmasz Papierowy; gold drops, string: my stash

See you later!
