Goodmorning Maja Design Fans,
So nice of you to visit the Maja Design blog today, I am back again posting on this lovely blog, it’s been a while since my last post. Hope you did not miss me too much ;-). For today I have a layout to share that I made for a nice lady who contacted me because she wanted to give her parents a present for their 50th year wedding anniversary. I did replace the pictures because she did not wanted them online….on the pictures you see my parents in law.
I took the dark blues and soft yellow tones from both collections because I think that is a lovely combination. The chipboard I used are off course The Dusty Attic & the flowers are by 49 and Market. On the background I used several stencils by different companies. Let’s have a closer look.

Hope you liked my post and I let your creating juices flowing…..love to see you soon! And I wish you a wonderful day…soon I have some amazing news keep you posted.
Hello Sweet Maja fans,
Lenet here and this time I bring you this Layout.
I didn’t use one specific collection this time , almoste every piece of of paper I used for this layout are leftovers I saved from other projects I made.
Except for the base /background , for this I used Monochromes shades of Celebration -Vintage Teal and Shades of Sofiero White/Sand.
I always keep every snippet , it’s such a waste to throw away these lovely papers.
I always will find a use for it , I deal for making cards or like this a layered layout.
You can tuck them behind another piece and create the illusion of a larger piece that is peeking out a little from underneath it.
Here I have some close up for you. The little frames come from the local dollarstore.
Flowers and leaves are from Prima and 47 and Market
The white sticks come from my own stash , I found them between my Christmas decorations .
Thank you very much for visiting , I hope I gave you some inspiration with my layout.
Hello Sweet Maja fans.
Lenet here and I’m a little late today. I was working on an other project but got stuck on that one, so I decided to start a new one and that made me running out of time.
Today I made this Christmas layout for you , using the gorgeous new Christmas papers Christmas Season . LOOOOVE them.
While I was making this one I was listening to a mix of Evanescence , Night wish and Within Temptation so it got a little Gothic feel over it.
Not my intention but I love how it turned out , hope you do to.
The chippies U used ( the sentiments and swirls ) are from Dusty Attic. I colored them with embossing powder.
The sentiments with black embossing powder from WOW and the Iron Garnish #2 swirls with ultra thick festive candy from Blond Moments.
I love their embossing powders such a shame the company is not here any more.
The golden glitter snowflake , star and red and white berries are are from my stash , leaves from making memories and the branches with red from Prima marketing.
Thank you for stopping by, hope I gave you some inspiration with these wonderful papers.
For me it’s time to set the Christmas tree and start decorating the home..YAAAY. I love this time of the year.
Hope you enjoy your Holiday month too.
Hello Maja friends!
It got cold, the first snow starts falling, icicles on the roofs and will make our world a little bit quieter and slower.
Winter time is sledding time too.
I loved that as I was a child, today I’m a ‘Frostbeule’ 😉
and what could be better than sitting in a small warm dreamy winter cottage
and watching the snow fall softly to the ground.
The children are romping in the snow and inside a fireplace crackles, wonderful!
a winter tree chipboard from Dusty Attic, snowflakes made with stencil and cutting dies
two snowy lanterns made with silicone moulds
a icicles fabric ribbon and some suitable chipboard winter leaves
Have a peaceful and relaxe advent season!
Winter greetings from Kerstin!
Hello sweet Maja fans,
Lenet here and today I bring you this autumn layout.
I”m very lucky to live close to the forest and the shore of the North Sea
I love being outdoors and taking long walks especially in the forest .
The colors are so beautiful this time of the year and I love the earthy smell, and a hot mug of coco with whipped cream when I get home to warm up.
There is so much to see while nature is preparing it self for winter.
I tried to bring you that feeling in todays layout.
I used the walk in the forest Collection for this one, love the warm colors and cosy patterns of this collection.
The little girl is holding a bouquet of flowers and I made it come back in this corner, the branches are cut out of a sheet of cork with a branch die from sizzix .
The fawns are made using the playful fawns die from memory box.
This branch comes from my stash and I have no idea what brand it is, but I used distress embossing powders to color it and gave it more dept with a layer of clear embossing powder on top of it.
Added some dewdrops for a finishing touch.
Hope I gave you some autumn inspiration to make your own layout, tag, card or anything.
Happy Fall to you all, enjoy it.
