Hello dear friends!

Mary here with you sharing my latest layout for my May inspiration. This time I made a colorful page with lots of flowers, laces, chipboards and metal embellishments and I choose a dark paper to combine them. I don’t really remenber if I have already told how much I love that combination. The contrast is just amazing!

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that beautiful photo. And, the new gorgeous ”Celebration” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the ”Ephemera” paper on the back side. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso and I applied a small amount of white gesso behinde my combosition. When it was dried, I added some texture with paper texture paste and a stencil.

I made some stamping here and there and then I heat embossed the patterns with the ”Venus Violet Blue” and the ”Sunset Yellow Orange” Lindy’s Gang embossing powders. Continued by coloring my page with the ”Tea Pot Purple” and the ”Magnolia Magenta Gold” Lindy’s sprays.

I painted the ”Small Scroll #2” flourish chipboard with the Sparks ”Iris Potion” acrylic paint.  The ”Clockworks Small” chipboard was also painted with the metallique ”Steampunk Copper” paint. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and sprinkled some glitter on them. The final touch was made with some splatters with white ink.

Hello sweet Maja Friends

I think like many of you I always loved Alice in wonderland.

I especially love the Alice movies Tim Burton made , the costumes,  the art,  make up ..everything.

Recently I rediscovered scrapping  at 6 x12inch papers . And I must say it’s really fun to scrap this size .

So one and one makes two and I decided to make a Tim Burton Alice serie in this half size and here you have the first one.

Alice.

i printed a queen of hearts I found on pinterest and tucked it behind Alice her picture like she is peaking around the corner , nosy as she is.

I added a bunch of roses from wild orchid craft

And a pocket watch, from the white Rabbit.

I used papers of the celebration collection , the strips with text are from Tim Holtz

Hello Maja friends!

Mary with you today to share my inspiration for March. I made a soft romantic page with lots of flowers, laces and chipboards.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that beautiful photo. And, the new gorgeous ”Celebration” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I used the ”All Dressed Up” paper for my background and I added some layers on it with the ”To the Party”, the ”Jubilee” and the ”Good Times” papers.

First, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. I made some stamping here and there and continued by coloring my page with the ”Cotton Candy Pink” and the ”Open Arms Amethyst” Lindy’s Gang spray.

I painted the ”Swirly Frame” chipboard and the word title with the Sparks ”Butterfly Spells” acrylic paint.  The ”Foliage #10” chipboards were also painted with the metallique ”White Pearl” acrylic paint. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and sprinkled some glitter on them. The final touch was made with some splatters with white ink.

Hello dear Maja fans ,

Today I bring you a dreamy layout  inspired by this months moodboard.

I love moodboards they are alway so inspiring , when I look at one the idea for a layout , card, minialbum or what ever will pop right into my mind.

For this layout i used the papers of two collections : vintage romance – Walk with me, for the base and Vintage Summer Basics -1922on top of it.

Besides that i used a lot of snippets that I placed underneath the picture.

The word Dream is a chippie from dusty attic and all the flowers from 49and market.

Thanks for visiting , hope I gave you some extra inspiration for the moodboard challenge.

Hello Maja fans!

Mary with you today to share my inspiration for February. I made a soft blue tone layout with lots of flowers, laces, chipboards and metal embellishments.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across that beautiful and mysterious photo of a girl with a horse. And, the new gorgeous ”Celebration” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I choose the ”You’re Invited” paper for my background and I added some layers with the ”Party” paper and the ”Anniversary” using both sides of it.

First, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with white crackle paste and a stencil. I made some stamping here and there and continued by coloring my page with the ”Blue Hawaiian Blue” Lindy’s Gang spray.

I painted the flourish chipboards and the title with the Sparks ”Magical Pond” acrylic paint. When dried, I gently rubbed on them some ”Vintage Gold” Wax. The ”Flower Stamens” chipboards were also painted with the Sparks ”Raven Black” and they were rubbed first with the ”Blue Velvet” Wax and then with the ”Vintage Gold”. The chipboards I used, are from Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some crystal and turquoise glass beads and sprinkled some glitter. I final touch was made with some splatters with white ink.
