Hello sweet Maja Fans,
Lenet here and today I bring you this Valentine card,
I used papers of the Christmas Season collection for this card just to show you that the Christmas collections are not just for Christmas projects and Christmas season .
As you see you can use them very well for other projects like a Valentine card.
As center piece I used a chipboard heart that I decorated with red polkadot back side of the Holly Jolly paper , distressed the edges and put a heart shaped lock on it.
I made a dangle with the key to the heart and attached it to the heart .
The flowers are from Prima Marketing and wild orchid crafts.
For the Card itself I used the back sides of : Deck the halls , Merry Night and Gift Shopping.
I’m so happy the Mood board challenges are back again! I always think the are a big inspiration , and it gave me the inspiration to make this card.
Did you take a look at this months Moodboard? There is still time to get isnpired and join the challenge, first prize is a collection of your choice!
I think that is a very good reason to enter don’t you? So come on and give it a try! can’t wait to see what you create.!
Hello Sweet Maja fans,
Lenet here and this time I bring you this Layout.
I didn’t use one specific collection this time , almoste every piece of of paper I used for this layout are leftovers I saved from other projects I made.
Except for the base /background , for this I used Monochromes shades of Celebration -Vintage Teal and Shades of Sofiero White/Sand.
I always keep every snippet , it’s such a waste to throw away these lovely papers.
I always will find a use for it , I deal for making cards or like this a layered layout.
You can tuck them behind another piece and create the illusion of a larger piece that is peeking out a little from underneath it.
Here I have some close up for you. The little frames come from the local dollarstore.
Flowers and leaves are from Prima and 47 and Market
The white sticks come from my own stash , I found them between my Christmas decorations .
Thank you very much for visiting , I hope I gave you some inspiration with my layout.
Hello Sweet Maja Fans ,
First I want to wish you all a very Happy and creative New year. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season.
I’m having a bit of a hard time to say goodbye to it. I always love that time of the year.
So one more Christmas post from me for closure and to start with the new year.
As you see no layout , card or minialbum but a altered clock. I bought this one a while ago at the dollar store , and is was waiting for the perfect opportunity to come along .
When I got the latest collection Christmas Season collection I knew I had to use them for this project.
Here you have a closeup from the top of the clock.
And one close up from the bottom. The christmas cards are cut out of the Greeting Cards sheet.
And one fromthe side.
I hope you like my Clock. I keep it at my craft room as a countdown to next Holiday season.
Happy and Creative New year!!
Hello Sweet Maja fans.
Lenet here and I’m a little late today. I was working on an other project but got stuck on that one, so I decided to start a new one and that made me running out of time.
Today I made this Christmas layout for you , using the gorgeous new Christmas papers Christmas Season . LOOOOVE them.
While I was making this one I was listening to a mix of Evanescence , Night wish and Within Temptation so it got a little Gothic feel over it.
Not my intention but I love how it turned out , hope you do to.
The chippies U used ( the sentiments and swirls ) are from Dusty Attic. I colored them with embossing powder.
The sentiments with black embossing powder from WOW and the Iron Garnish #2 swirls with ultra thick festive candy from Blond Moments.
I love their embossing powders such a shame the company is not here any more.
The golden glitter snowflake , star and red and white berries are are from my stash , leaves from making memories and the branches with red from Prima marketing.
Thank you for stopping by, hope I gave you some inspiration with these wonderful papers.
For me it’s time to set the Christmas tree and start decorating the home..YAAAY. I love this time of the year.
Hope you enjoy your Holiday month too.
Hello sweet Maja fans.
Lenet here , today it’s my turn to bring you some inspiration.
Today I have this Christmas card for you made with the wonderful Christmas collection Joyous winterdays and Monochromes- Shades of Winterdays.
For the card topper / centerpiece I made a rosette using the Tim Holtz minipaper rosettes die.
I used a a 1.5″ circle puch for the Santa picture , it comes from the vintage frost Basics 14th of December sheet.
The scallop circles underneath are made with Spellbinders Nestabilities.
Behind it all you see a snowflake made with the snowflake die of the Winter trails collection from studio Light.
I added an seambinding bow and some “snow” made with paper texture paste from Finnabair to complete the card and winter feeling.
Thank you for visiting , I hope you like the christmas card I made for you and that it gave you inspiration to get crafty.
Make shure you come back for lots more inspiration given by the other wonderful Maja Girls.
