Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Denim and Friends collection. I chose a photomontage. Perhaps you will recognize the castle of Brissac from a previous layout?

The Brissac Tortoise by Pascale B.

As usual, I primed the background with clear gesso. Then I added a design with a stencil and a white crackle paste. When dry, I painted the background with a blue Sparks paint and some blue Twinkling H2Os.

While it dried again, I die-cut some leaves in a watercolor paper. I colored them as well as a few flowers with differents Twinkling H2O.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo. I added the flowers, the leaves, and some metallic embellishments.

When happy with the result, I added some micro beads and some bigger beads. I glued also some jump rings.

To finish the layout, I added another design with a Distress Oxide ink that I sprayed with water.

Hello my dear friends!!!

It’s Mary here with you today and I have a new layout to share with you, made with the beautiful ”Denim & Friends” collection.

Once more, I decided to use papers in blue tones combined with some beautiful flowers in earth tones that was perfectly matching the photo I found on Pinterest. And, before I continue I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

closer 1

I used for my background the ”Worn Indigo” paper and the ”Sunbleached” to mat my photo.

closer 2

I gave my background a coat of clear gesso and then, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. I continued by coloring my page with Lindy’s Stamp Gang spray ”Afternoon Delight Denim”.

closer 3

I heat embossed the title with the ”Golden Angel Wings” Lindy’s embossing powder. The ”Skeleton Clock Frame” and the ”Chain Length” pieces with the ”Midnight Gold” powder. All the chipboards I used are 2crafty, the flowers are Prima Marketingand the flairs are Cuts2luv.

To finish my page, I added some metal embellishments and I made some splatters with white acrylic artists ink.

Hi Everyone,

Its Keren Here with a new layout.

I’ve always loved the brick pattern from the Vintage Summer Basics and so I knew I had to incorporate it into a layout during my DT term.

Below is a photo of my husband and daughter and i thought it was so cute.

I framed the photo by die cutting with a frame out of the background paper. The brick paper hid the area where I had cut from.

I used to doodle on my notebooks and on anything I could get my hands on. Fourteen years ago I discovered scrapbooking and fell in love with it. One of the main reasons I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children. Scrapbooking opened a creative door to something that I had longtime forgotten I'd loved. It gave me peace of heart and mind. visit my blog for more inspiration: https://kerentamir.blogspot.ca
