Hi there Maja fans! Today I want to show you a tag I made with some of the beautiful Vintage Spring Basics papers. They are just so soft, shabby and vintage looking, and I love it! I have used a 12″ cardboard and two Tim Holtz dies to make it. From the front you can hardly see the 3D-effect of the birdcage, so therefore I have taken some close up photos, so you could have a better idea of how it really looks like from all angles.023

For the bird cage I have actually cut out five cages from the die, and one more from the Maja Design Papers to have on the top. The edges are painted with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence, to get the shabby crackle look. On the papers I have also inked the edges with Walnut Stain, to get that old look.007

The sentiment on the bottom of the tag is cut out from the paper “Days to remember”. While the flowers are cut out from 1th of May, and the butterfly from 6th of May. I have inked the edges and painted over them with Crackle Paint-Clear Rock Candy.036

Under you get a more closer look of some of the details. 044

I just love the Vintage Spring Basics Collection!Vintage-Spring-Basics-P
