Hello.  Jennifer Snyder here sharing a large shaker tag made for my granddaughter to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  She’s 9 months old and this is her first St. Patrick’s Day – which happens to be a big deal in my household because my husband is in a band that features Irish music for the local pubs in New York, where we live.

This is my interpretation of “baby Irish” – using Maja Design’s classic Fika collection, still my favorite collection for it’s rich chocolate browns, , creams, greens and purples.  Just thinking about it makes me feel like a chocolaty treat.

Here are the images and papers I used from the collection: Chokadmuffins, Favoriter, Apple, Kärleksmums

Now then, don’t those beautiful paper images don’t make you hungry? Yum.

Here is a close up of the beautiful papers and the chipboard teddy bear shaker from Creative Embellishments.  It’s filled with shaker mix from Buttons Galore, to help make the shaker “come to life”.  The shaker mix adds that “bit’o lucky charm”, as my husband would say.

Thank you for stopping here today.  Enjoy.

Hi everyone! I am back with a tag this time, using the lovely collection Coffee in the Arbour.

Lots of pink to match the pattern papers. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the image and dies used are from Magnolia.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers and Markers.

I have added some corrugated papers behind the image. And painted with white Gesso here and there.

A beautiful butterfly cut out twice to make the double wings.

Some tags where I have used Bazzill paper, and added a pink ring made of Maja papers.

The text is embossed with white embossing powder and a heat gun. All the paper edges are sewed with a sewing machine.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja design blog today. Have a wonderful September!

With love,

Coming home for Christmas

Hi everyone! Today I will show you a tag I made playing with the new and gorgeous papers from the latest Christmas collection, the Christmas Season. I just love them!

Being a teacher before Christmas is always busy, so I am so sorry I haven’t gotten the time to play more with these papers. But now it is holiday, and I have even baked some cookies, and cleaned the house! Last night we put up the Christmas tree, and filled it with glitter, flags and ornaments. In my family we always had to wait till the day before Christmas to decorate the tree. But this year we were a day early. My son (5) had so looked forward to it!

The papers I have used are from the mini papers. I have cut out the small cards and put them up to the left on the tag. They are so cute.

The image is from Magnolia. And I have embossed it with white embossing paper on black card stock. I use the back of the one called Raven.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

With love,

A tag made with love!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are fine. I am enjoying working with the Vintage Autumn Basics collection. The papers are just so beautiful! I will show you which ones I used at the end of the post.

But first some photos of my tag. It is not always necessary to give a whole card, sometimes a tag can be just as nice to give someone. I have used the tag die from Sizzix for the main tag.

All the other dies I have used are from Magnolia. The image is from Magnolia’s Class Trip Collection 2018. And I have coloured her in matching colours to the lovely papers.

Here comes some close ups of the details on the tag. I have used Distress ink for my colouring.

I have put some White Gesso on to the papers here and there.

Between the layers on the camera I have put som 3D foam. And some Maja papers together with the Raven Bazzill. I think it worked out nicely.

Here is the list of papers used:

Thank you so much to visit the Maja Design blog today!

With love,

Christmas Greetings

Hello Sweet Maja fans.

When summer is at it’s end I always get Christmas jitters.

Although every season and holiday has it’s own charm, I really love Christmas.

Me and my kids love to snuggle up with a warm blanket on the couch, and watch every Christmas-movie we can find.

With Christmas jitters comes Christmas crafting.  So today I bring you this Christmas tag made with leftovers from the Vintage Frost Basic Collection.

I hate throwing away designpapers I love , so i safe them for smaller projects like this.

For the bottom of the base tag I used the  Martha Stewart  doily punch. one of my all time favorite edgepunches.

On top of that I laid a die cut made with Romantic Rectangles nestabilities  by Spellbinders.

Than I started stacking papers till I like it and stick them together with foamtape.

I always keep some space between the edges of my papers so I can tuck some embellishments or or small papers between the layers.

To finish it an eyelet in the top with a piece o flace thru it so it can hang .

This label will sure be a part of my Christmas decorations. I love how it turned out.

The Snow flake die I used is from the winter trails collection by  Studio Light.

Thank you very much for visiting make sure you come back for more wonderful projects made by the other Maja girls to inspire you.
