Morning Maja friends! I was lucky enough to get a large chunk of time in my craft studio this past weekend and went crazy designing with my beloved Maja Design papers! Everytime I sit down to make a card, I find myself gravitating to these papers….doesn’t matter which collection…I’m easily inspired by them all! Today I’m showcasing the new Vintage Autumn Basics and Vintage Summer Basics…because I’m just not ready to let summer go, though, I really love Autumn, too! Here’s three cards from Autumn Basics followed by one from the Summer Basics line I made over the last two weeks:MajaOct1013MCThe above card features No. X, No. XVI-bs and No.XVII along with some vintage lace, twine, pearls, flowers, copper accents, a doily, and Verve’s Award Banner die. The verse is also from Verve.CSC160MajaCThis card has LOTS going on, the specific papers I used were: No. I, No. II, No. III-bs, No. IV, No. V-bs, No. XVI-bs. I made the loopy flower accent with some thin ribbon and glued a paper flower on the middle. The above card also features Verve’s sentiment, daisy chain lace, pearls, burlap and the Award Banner die. Lots of distressing, too.

The sentiment is from Verve and I also added some pearls, Liquid Pearls, daisy chain lace, a snowflake button and Spellbinder dies. CSC161Maja

Moving on to our beloved past summer, this card features 1923, 1933, 1936 and 1936-bs papers from the Vintage Summer Basics collection. I used the same vintage lace from the first card, but dyed it with Copic markers to match the background paper. The floral accent consists of a lace bow, a crocheted flower, a paper flower, a twine bow and pearl/tulle stamens. The sentiment is again from Verve and I layered that onto some Oval and Floral Oval Nestability die cuts. Many, many pearls complete the look. Oh, and I had to get some sewing on there, too…I just love the look of stitching!

Thanks for joining me today…hope you have a wonderfully inspired day!Andrea-sign
