Hello Maja Fans,

Elena is here today to share with you some winter isnpired projects. Though it is not there, I am working on Christmas gifts, so that is why I am digged into something wintery.

And I couldn’t resist a temptation to show you something made with the new collection A Gift For You

Cozy_Christmas_ElenaOlinevich I really love the color combination Marie has chosen for this collection, as you might have known I prefer soft and pastel colors. So I used grey and white, and they really worked great together.

img_6571  I used some of new Art Ingredients in my card, they are not so sparkling as a glitter is but it adds more depth to the background.

closieSC I created a little video tutorial how I embellished this card. Please, enjoy it:

You can find it here  – on Maja Design YouTube channel

Th image I use was found on Pinterest here

And I also would like to share with you a mini album I made for my Christmas classes that I have already taught.

Christmas_SockAlbum_ElenaOlinevichI won’t show all the images just some of them. I used Vintage Frosted Basics.

Stocking1_ElenaOlinevichSome parts of it as well as some embellishments are acrylic clear, so i saved on my papers and showed 2 sides of it.

Christmas_Stocking_ClearI made many folded books inside for the photos or Christmas Cards

img_6587img_6616There are many vintage images that I used too, they are mostly hidden inside the folded paper books.

img_6600I added some of my favorite lace and ribbon trims as well s flowers and die cuts.

Hope you have liked my creations this month.

Hello Maja Fans. The weather is getting colder and it’s time to spend more evening with your family.

My layout is about family values.

ElenaOlinevich_Family_layout  The family is the place where your feel calm and safe, so I used plain colors and my choice for the paper was Vintage Summer Basics, and yes, my favourite beige and pale pink colors.

img_6510I used some strip and floral papers, and added some texture using modeling paste, micro beads and flowers.

img_6481 Some chipboard pieces, Dies and tons of flowers of the sa,e colors as the paper background.

img_6494Some lace and the ribbon, these are fabric toucehs I love most of all. I pulled the ribbon through the resin frame and tied with a twine.

img_6489  I framed the image of teh lady, as it helps to accent how people are the matter of our lives. I applied a small amount of microbeads over the frame and then colored it a bit with Primary Elements.

img_6482Family ties ares trong when you are together, so I strenghthened this idea using metal door lock.

Hope you have liked my layout. Thank you for stopping by today.

Products used:

Vintage Summer Basics- 1910, 1911, 1926.

Prima Marketing flowers , resin and metal embellishments, 2Crafty Chipboard, lace and ribbon trims.

Good morning Maja Friends.

We are enjoying warm sunny days here, but I have already started my Christmas preparations. A bit early for me, but since I have been to busy last year, so I decided to start doing Christmas card even in the summer, but frankly speaking it was too hot for creating them .

WinterCard_ElenaOlinevichI played with my all time favorite from Christmas collections – Vintage Winter Collection. These blue and white colors are more traditional for me, as they remind me about the snow winters and cold winds.

img_6366img_6359But more cards are coming and I will use all different colors for them ,as I have so many friends all over the world.

Hello Maja friends.

Not recently I have been lucky to meet our Jenny, when I went to Sweden. She showed me her scrap house ( yes, not a room but a separate white scrap house). It is something to die for, I tell you.

I had such a pleasure to watch her shabby – vintage creations seteverywhere in her beautiful white space.

Moreover I had a chance to hold her sweet little boy in my hands. He is such a  little charming baby.

So when I came back home ( I really have been missing my kids), so i decided to create something white and shabby.

TreasureMemories_ElenaOlinevichand here it is – something about – Tresure your Memories. I found a photo of me and my son when he was just 2 months old. I have already scrapped this photo, but I used very bright colors. So following Jenny’s white tones – I made a white background.

Then I added white embellishments, but it was too pale for me, though I decided to move towards french Vintage Style.

and you know what – yes, i have added some shades of pink and beige

img_6296But nothing more. I picked the papers from Vintage Summer Basics collection, and chose those that are full of vintage text prints.

img_6299I just love using the scraps from Maja sheets, it is so easy to make a journaling with them or use them as a tittle.

img_6304img_6297  Thank you Jenny once again, for having me as a guest in your becautiful house, and special thanks to you and your baby boy for the inspiration you have given me just with your smiles.

Hello Maja Friends. September has come and we have an Indian summer at the moment – my favorite time.

and this card is like saying good – bye to the summer:

ClearCardNor_ElenaOlinevich I used Vintage Summer Basic Collection and an acrylic card sheets to create this.

But the title I used for it is a scrap of the paper from Coffee in the Arbour collection. Now you see how they fit each other easily.

Card_ElenaOlinevich1Hope you are all enjoying a warm and sunny weather in your part of the world.
