Hello Maja Design fans. Welcome to the Maja design blog where you will find wonderful creativity and inspiration from the entire Maja Design creative team. I love creating with The beautiful Sofiero collection which always has such a soft and romantic energy to the papers.

Enchanted Garden birthday card … I wanted to make a handmade card for a dear friend of mine who is turning 60 … a special birthday , a milestone .Beginning with a foundation of white cardstock, I cut out various dies and began layering alternating with white card. adding leaves and blooms between the layers. I completed the stacked elements with a chipboard heart. Oh how I adore these papers. I covered the Inside the card with Enjoying the Lovely Fragrance and I stamped with one of my very fave happy birthday stamps, tied two different sized tags with pink string. Thanks so much for popping by and looking at my work with the divine Sofiero Collection … oozing with romantic blooms of pinks and soft lilac. Maja Design papers used …. Sofiero Collection .. Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to the Maja Design blog . The weather is extremely cold here in Australia as we are in the middle of Winter. I am dreaming of warm spring days with blooms smiling happily in my garden … Today I am in a Romantic mood showcasing a very romantic card, loaded with blooms, and some resin embellies, embracing the dreamy new collection at Maja Design …..‘Coffee in the Arbour ‘ Heaps of yummo layering and stitching. I always have such fun creating these cards . I find the Maja papers such a delight to play with, and these layers are complimented with the blooms and a key . Just look how these papers embrace the blooms .I can just imagine sitting at a table enjoying coffee and cake surrounded by a beautiful garden full of color and blooms .. sigh xoxo I decorated the inside of the card quite simply by adding more striped paper and a small die on the right side . I seemed to be a little carried away with the blooms and just kept adding more of them .These papers blend so beautifully with little pink rosebuds, pink and white roses and a resin key .

Celebrate with BLUE AND WHITE – always so fresh and crisp . I love the crisp feeling to a blue and white project . Here I have created a tag that pops inside the pocket .

My stacked layers consist of leaves , rosebuds, chipboard and dies, finishing off perfectly with a heart and an altered metal piece and pearl brad . This pocket has a foundation of white cardstock with stamping in blue, and some white gesso splashed randomly to add to the crisp feel of Blue and white . Maja Design Papers used for the Blue and white tag and pocket Coffee in the Arbour..Blueberry cupcake, Lovely weather, and Walking in the Forest – Jeans . Hello to all my Maja Design fans …Today I am sharing a project I created with the enchanting new ‘ Coffee in the Arbour ‘ collection ….Such romantic and soft colors with intricate designs Hearts, blooms , stripes, checks and lemons. I adore this Pink and white with the hearts It creates the perfect foundation for a card/Tag . I have also combined these papers the Vintage Autumn Basics and Vintage Summer Basics as well . ….. ‘CELEBRATE’ Tag in a Pocket / A layered cluster and rosebuds all tied up with white ribbon . Showcasing the Tag which lives inside the pocket . I always leave plenty of room to write a message on the Tag I love the way the altered keyhole blends with the heart paper . You have the key to my heart !!! So many beautiful layers and softness all embracing each other with harmony. Rich and Colorful Envelope and TAG

Hello all you wonderful followers of Maja Design. A very very warm welcome here to our blog .Today I have created an envelope and a tag to show you . The envelope is simply made from paper, cut and glued to hold the shape, with a matching TAG to pop inside the envelope .

WISHING YOU lots of everything WONDERFUL xox I embellished the tag with chipboard , ribbon, blooms and leaves . This envelope and tag is for some friends of ours who have just moved into their new home. Their children are now all adults and married so they decided to down size . Their new home has a very pretty established garden with deep blue and white blooms … …. number 15 ….. Their new house number is ….15 ….. We Bought a beautiful large Fern in a ceramic pot for them and popped this tag and envelope with it as a gift to celebrate their new Home . They were very happy, and received it with love and joy . Full front view of my embellished tag . I always love to embellish the back of my tags and leave room to write a message for my friends … I added this little cluster of embellies on the envelope to add interest and contrast to the gingham paper … I truly love the richness of this collection and the feel of nature it gives … Maja Design collection used ……. Hi there everyone, thanks for popping by Maja design blog , we absolutely love having you here . Today I am sharing TWO Projects with you …. A Tag and a richly colored Easel Card, created with the Walking in the Forest Collection and the Vintage Autumn basics Collection. We are having our winter season here in Australia and I wanted to create something warm and bright . I have chosen a combination of Denim blue and Deep Burnt Orange, with touches of rust. I stacked my elements combining Maja Design papers with diecut leaves, and various other diecut shapes, together with some chipboard twigs . I kept with the warm rusty theme and colored my chipboard in Rusty ink . I feel the orange and blue are a Perfect marriage . These blues flowed together beautifully and I added some metal buttons each side of my cluster . The inside of my card is stamped with the word celebrate with a rusty inked swirly chipboard piece to hold the easel in place .

I also want to share another project with you …. Recently some friends of ours had a HOUSE WARMING party…. and I created this Tag to attach with our gift ….again I used Walking in the Forest Collection.

The base of my tag is made from Chipboard, to create a strong foundation. I covered it in ‘Jeans’ – and proceeded to stack various diecut pieces, using various papers from the Walking in the Forest Collection. I love the rich colors of this Collection and the deep blue embraces the Rusty toned chipboard perfectly, creating a warm toasty energy in this cold wintery weather . I decided to add a circle with their house number 28, to make it personal to them.
