In Our Sofa – Welcome to Heidi’s craft room

Happy Saturday morning! Today it’s my turn to share my craft space with you.

I am using our guest room as a craft room. Do you want to take a look? Welcome in!

Here is my desk where I’m crafting. Just in front of the window where I have a view out to the terrace.

The terrace is turning east/west so I get the sun into my desk in the afternoon. As you see we have no neighbors looking in, except a lot of birds.

Just in front of me at the desk I have all the tools I often use, my Big Shot, punches, ink, tape, glue, sponges, pens etc. And my radio 🙂

On the left side I have 3 shelves containing stamps, papers, flowers, ribbons, lace and other things I often use.

Behind me I have another shelve where I store my crafting books and magazines, sewing machine and a lot of boxes with crafting materials.

And on the wall on my right side I have 2 metal frames where I can hang the finished cards. I hope you all enjoyed looking into my craft room. Wish you all a sunny and creative Saturday!

Good morning Maja friends! I hope you all are enjoying the summer days. This is my last vacation week and I am looking forward to some lazy, but creative days.

Today I have made a card for a man who turns 75. I don’t know him personally, but I have been told that he was a handsome man when he was younger, so I thought this photo of the moviestar Gene Kelly suit the card. Gene Kelly is known from the movie “Singing in the Rain”.

The card is made in vintage style with papers from “Vintage Autumn Basics”.

Together with the lovely Maja papers I have used a lot of old stuff to decorate the card; lace, a slide, Norwegian ration cards from 2nd world war, stamps and a postcard. The text is a stamp and I have also used chipboard, thickers, tags and twine.

Here you see a close up of the ration cards. Each peace gave you 25 gram coffee.

Good morning Maja friends!

I hope you all are enjoying sunny and lazy summer days. I am already done with half of my vacation, and I am relaxing at home with my husband, crafting and reading.

Today I have a birthday card to show you, made with the new papers from the “Summer Crush” collection.

The beatiful image of the bike with the flower basket you find on one of the “Summer Crush” papers. I have decorated the card with chipboards, lace, doilies and flowers.
