Good morning Maja friends! I hope you all are enjoying the summer days. This is my last vacation week and I am looking forward to some lazy, but creative days.
Today I have made a card for a man who turns 75. I don’t know him personally, but I have been told that he was a handsome man when he was younger, so I thought this photo of the moviestar Gene Kelly suit the card. Gene Kelly is known from the movie “Singing in the Rain”.
The card is made in vintage style with papers from “Vintage Autumn Basics”.
Together with the lovely Maja papers I have used a lot of old stuff to decorate the card; lace, a slide, Norwegian ration cards from 2nd world war, stamps and a postcard. The text is a stamp and I have also used chipboard, thickers, tags and twine.
Here you see a close up of the ration cards. Each peace gave you 25 gram coffee.
Do you remember these slides? It’s some years ago 🙂
I wish you all a lovely day! Hugs from Heidi
Beautiful and the embellishments around Gene Kelly’s photo are awesome.
Thank you so much Kathy! Wish you a lovely day 🙂 Hugs, Heidi
