Hello dear friends, Evgenia Petzer with you today. My son is getting older and is being invited to birthday parties more often. This time around we were asked to give a gift card to the toy shop as a present. So of course I wanted to pack it nicely. I coloured in the image that suits the papers and the boyish colors (LOTV image with prismacolor pencils) and then created this envelope.

The part with the boy is sliding and then you can open the envelope.

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I have prepared the mini album from the gorgeous Life by the Sea. I am scrapping for about 9 years and this collection is still the best for me from the nautical ones. Its so versatile, its neutral colors can be worked out in so many ways. I went this time with grey and deep blue. the dice just from the Kaisercraft worked very well here, as well as some russian chipboard and some die cutting.

Lets have a look? I have put some of the photos of my oldest son as in example in it, but most probably i will just gift this mini album.

Lovely shaker on the cover.

Being a mom to three boys I made this mini in a bit boyish, pirate style, with some touches of black and kraft color.

Goodmorning lovelies,

It’s such a blessing to post on this blog and today I am here to show you two tall cards I created with a bunch of Maja Design collections. I don’t even know how many of them because both cards made out of leftover papers I really enjoy using my scraps every once in a while! I really enjoy the month March not only because it was my birthday {and hubby’s too} yesterday but I really love how spring is sneaking up on us. Did you see the gorgeous spring mood board yesterday on the blog? If not please check the ladies made some pretty amazing work on that mood board wow…..

First card is called “Hello Love” and this card has at least three collections in it like “Enjoying Outdoors”, “Vintage Spring Basics” & can you see the other one? These cards are all made with dies so you can really see the beautiful Maja Design collections at it’s best.

Second card is called “Groovy Summer” I really am longing for Summer since this is my most favorite season of the year but here in The Netherlands that will take some time before we can put our winter coats away sadly. This card is made with just one collection which is one of my all time favorites “Life by the Sea” both cards are the same size about 8,5″ inches tall and 4,5″ inches wide.

I am so excited and happy to get to share something beautiful! My sweet daughter’s wedding!

We filled this room with Paper, Pearls, and Lace!

Who knew such a beautiful display could be made from paper….

Although, not just any paper could pull off such a gorgeous spread. It took around 200 sheets of beautiful Maja paper mixed with a few others to pull off this massive creation…. and about 4 months of my time. Yep, I made every single one of those layered pinwheel flowers. I must say, it was worth every single minute. Many, many thanks to Maja’s Marie and Camilla for sending such a generous box to make this project possible!

We carried the paper theme through out the entire reception,

which took place in a warehouse style, rustic, shabby art studio.

We filled the walls with large engagement photos and strung a handmade paper banner over the gift table…

The tables were embellished with gold candle sticks topped with handmade pearl balls,

fabric and paper flower balls, along with altered stacks of books and strings of pearls…

Lights with paper and fabric lanterns hung from the ceiling…

Welcome to the Maja Design blog today! i hope that you are having a lovely week. I have let me inspired by the lovely “Life by the Sea” collection and made this nautical card.

Life-by-the-Sea-P

I will give you a list of the papers used at the end of the post:)

The image is from Magnolia and is called #”Tilda playing in the water”. It is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers. I have put crackle accents on to the jellyfishs and the starfish. The shells are from a local interior shop. The postmarks around the image are stamps from Stempelglede. I have also added some spots with liquid pearls here and there.

I have cut the waves out from Maja papers, and the ducks from Bazzill Kraft paper.

Under you see the inside of the card. I have made a sail, just to build up under the nautical look;)
