A little of Spring…

Happy Monday Maja friends!! Marilyn is here to share with you this spring page about my dear daughter Paola that I made using one of my favorite collection…Vintage Spring Basics.  My inspiration was a full pleated skirt that I made a time ago and I created the same effect here with the Maja Design papers .

I cut the tags, butterflies and my tittle from the ” Days to Remember”  paper.

I tie the tag with a  jute and added a cheesecloth around the flowers.

I love these butterflies, they are in the 6th of May and Day to Remember papers.

I worked with the 1933 and 1911 papers from this collection.DSC_5795 copy I added some textures with gesso, acrylic paints and molding paste, I also stamp and put some stars rub-ons on my page.DSC_5796 copy

Happy Monday!!  It’s Marilyn here today and I will share with you a tag that  I made using the beautiful Crea Diem collection…

I worked with the  Av hela mitt hjärta and the Kärleken-bs papers from the Crea Diem collection in my tag.

I added some gesso and molding paste in the background using a stencil then I draped the paper to create dimension.

The quote translates to… “If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus one day. So I never have to live without you”  Winnie the Pooh

Happy Monday!! I hope all of you had a great weekend. Today I’m sharing with you a page with lots of layers. I worked with different Maja Design collections in my layout like Vintage Summer/ Autumn/Frost Basics collections. This page is about  two of my loves…my daughter and my hubby .

I started to cut stripes in different pattern papers, distressed them and made layers weaving the stripes.

I worked the background with molding paste, a stencil and acrylic paints.

Napkin box tutorial…

Happy Monday!  I recently moved to USA and I have a lot of boxes so I decided to recycle and create something with them, well I made a napkin box using the beautiful Vintage Summer Basics collection.
