Hello Friends,

I am glad that the weather outside is almost like the spring, so it’s time to get ready for enjoying warm weather, especially at the seaside. I am not a lucky one , I live at the country where there is no sea. and every summer I have a wish to watch the waves and listen to the noise of it. However I enjoy making marine theme projects and here is a cover I made for a baby book.

I made a try to marry the papers and the fabric, and I guess there is quite a good match, don’t you think?

So I made some die cutting from the papers and used almost the same paper patterns as my fabric has -stars, stripes, and I really love how it has come to.

I made stitching on the fabric and on the papers, and now they look almost the same.

Goodmorning to you lovely followers,

Today I would like to show you two boy’s layouts I made with two Maja Design collections such as the Nyhavn and Life by the Sea. On one layout I only used the Life by the Sea collection and on my other layout I combined the two. First layout is very clean and simple for me and it shows that you can definitely use flowers on a boy’s layout at least that’s what I think. This is a layout with pictures of our handsome boy “Kevin”

Lately I just love to scrap the color orange and this collection has one of sheet in it which I use over and over. Because it’s such a rich orange color. Our boy doesn’t want to take pictures anymore but sometimes he makes his mom very happy and says mom “if you want to take pictures of me I am ready for it” I never say no at this point in his life.

For my second layout I have to tell you a little story. I couple of months ago my hubby and I went to pick up our boy from his parents because he slept over. My hubby went in military close what I really don’t like to walk next to but okay it’s his body right? So when I opened my mailbox the next day my father in law had send us a email with a adorable picture of him when he was just a little boy in a marine suit. So if you know me a little I had to scrap it.

Aren’t they just the cutest little marines you’ve ever seen the lower picture is one of him and his brother my hubby’s uncle. I had so much fun scrapping these pictures. The blue flowers I made myself. That barb wire you see on the outside of my page is a awesome die by Cheery Lynn Designs. On the base {the gray sheet} I did some stamping, misting and pasting with a new design stencil by TCW called Mini Nautical Chains.

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I have prepared the nautical inspired treasure box for my son. When on the sea, he alays picks p shells and other bys treasures, so now he can store them in this box.

I have taken some of the Maja papers and covered the box with it, I mainly went with neutral colors this time and then I added the pop up colors for the box decor.

Good morning Maya fans! It’s Heidi here with you today from a rainy and clouded Norway. We can no longer deny it, autumn is here.

Do you like the 50s? Today I have made a card inspired by that period.

This is a pocket card that I have made with several panels I have cut with dies and put together layer by layer.

Inside the pocket you find this yellow card where you can write a greeting. I have used the papers “Life jacket” from Life by the Sea and “Long summer nights” from Summer Crush.

Already teenager!

Good morning Maja friends! It seems like the autumn is here, today it’s raining and it’s windy. A perfect day to stay indoors and to make some new cards!

Last week my niece turned 13. Already teenager, time flies! This card I made for her birthday with papers from “Life by the Sea”.

The card is decorated with tags, cheese cloth, doily, lace, washi tape and flowers.

I have painted the chipboard red and the image of the Converse shoes I have found on the internet. The text is made with Dymo.
