Hello crafty friends,

well, I am going to travel a lot this summer, so I decided to create something a kind of a travel book that I can take with me to put in some photos , to make the notes and save some memorablia files too. So that is why I created with mini album

NyhavnMiniAlbum_MainActually, I tried to fill it more with the papers than with the embellishments. I used Nyhavn collection -so perfect for your travelling notes.

NyhavnMiniAlbum_1I added only chipboard pieces and played a lot with my papers.

img_0156I made some envelopes and folds  – to keep some tickets or useful information files.

img_0160Also I filled it with vellum pockets and strings.

I suggest you to take the ride and enjoy the video clip I made, so that you’ve got a chance to look it through properly.

Hope you have liked it, now it’s your turn to create a travel book for yourself, isn’t it.

Products used:

Nyhavn collection – Heritage Harbour , Old Townhouses , Historical atmosphere , The sunny side , Strolling along the canal , Veteran ships , Eating out ; Wycinanka chipboard.

I can’t keep calm, I’m turning 40!!!!
(that would be my line). Luckily, my friend who turned 40 the other day, was a true role model of a fabulous woman, at the best of her years!
The project which I’m sharing today is a little gift which I have prepared for her on this special day, a card with a matching decorated box.
DSC_0521md The box is decorated in a feminine style: delicate colours, flowers, some lace and bling!DSC_0526 mdClose up of the card: the text is found on pinterest and printed out on a piece of MD paper.DSC_0529md
Supplies Maja Design: Nyhavn-The sunny side, Vintage Summer – 1933, Crea Diem – Känn dig själv, Den oersättliga tiden.
Supplies others: Stamp – Tim Holtz, Flowers – Wild Orchid Crafts, stencil, bling, heavy gesso-Prima.

Thanks for stopping here for a moment! Have a great day!!!

Hello everyone! It’s Cathy here on the blog today. For my project today I have a frame to share with you. I created this frame for my classroom as I wanted to inspire my students as well as add something beautiful to the space. It’s always nice to have some home decor pieces in learning spaces. I bought an inexpensive frame and decorated it using papers from the limited edition Nyhavn Collection.

I used Heritage Harbour as my background and created the splatters using Prima Splatter stamps. I covered some Kaisercraft words with Historical Atmosphere and Like a Colourful Bouquet papers and inked the edges with Prima dark bark inks. To finish I painted the sides of the words with Kaisercraft mango paint.

I used some chipboard pieces and altered them by applying chalk inks and distress inks.

To add some colour, I added some flowers. I have had these Prima daisies in my stash for a while and I added some die cut leaves as well as a twine bow to add texture. I used La La Land open leaf flourish and Elizabeth Craft curvy leaf dies.

I repeated the flowers in the opposite corner but picked up on the orange from the letters. I have used quite a few Prima flowers and the same dies to create the leaves in the cluster. I adhered everything using Prima art basics soft matt gel…it’s my favourite adhesive at the moment!

We recently had a family vacation over at South Korea and one of the most beautiful places we have seen was the garden at Everland Korea. The place was blooming with flowers and there was a beautiful backdrop of houses in beautiful colors… just like what you see in Storybooks. I wanted to use the perfect papers for our photos and I found it in the Nyhavn Collection!!! There was a sheet that was filled with Story book houses, a compass, and a weathered wood pattern. Everything I needed to complete the page was in this collection!IMG_1203IMG_1205IMG_1210 Nyhavn-P

Hope you all have a happy and crafty week! Hugs!
