IMG_2370Hi there! Today is my turn to host the lovely Maja Design blog. In February I was asked to make a card for baby Elliot. But you know how it is, the real life calls, and you make the card in the last minute.

Anyway, I had so much fun making it. And I got to use the super cute papers from Vintage Baby, which is perfect for baby cards. I have used some of the blue tones from the collection.

I have coloured up Baby Edwin from Magnolia, with Distress Ink, Markers and re-inkers.

The postmark stamp and the stamped sentiment are stamps from Stempelglede. The same goes for the butterfly stamp on the writing-part of the card.

Many of the dies used are from Magnolia’s DooHickey club volume 9. And I think the stars fit the image well.

I love the cute little envelopes, also from vol. 9. The tags are cut out with a die called Tilda Tag. I have added Stickles-Star Dust on the image.

I have made the card as an easel card.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today 🙂

Hello!

I am happy to be back to share a Card I created using the beautiful Vintage Baby Collection!

This would make a wonderful baby shower card or it would be awesome for an occasion!

The pretty pink roses and gingham print are timeless and gorgeous!

I simply layered a doily, a couple of punched circles, atop a banner all made from

the sweet pattern paper. Lastly I added a cluster of flowers and a sweet little resin angel and wood icon title.

Easy Peasy and Beautiful!

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I have prepared the baby box, where the mom can keep all the little treasures of her loved one. Lots of layers and laces here, some resin pieces pearls. To get that shabby look all that combination above will work perfectly.

My youngest son’s hand also wants to get that box:)

I went with neutrals, the baby pink color and some light peach accents as well.

Hello, Maja Fans, welcome to the blog 🙂

I’m happy you’ve found some time to visit us and – hopefully – get inspired 🙂 I have two girly cards to share today.

I love colouring stamped images. Perhaps it’s not as trendy as mandala colouring that seems to have captured the world 😉 but it’s still relaxing, though it does take some time and therefore I can’t do it as often as I’d like to. But recently I bought cute stamps for colouring and just couldn’t resist! And here are the cards I made:

mdgor

I used small paper pads for both cards so that designs are well visible. The first card is based upon the Vintage Baby collection. But this time I chose the blue-brown combo usually associated with boy themes 😉

mdgor1

The image I chose for the card features a teddy bear, so the teddy pattern was just the perfect choice 🙂

mdgor2

I chose a couple of flowers and a button to decorate the card:

mdgor3

I most often colour my stamped images with Distress inks and then accent them with glitter or liquid pearls. Here I used glitter for some bling 🙂

mdgor4

The other card adds some red accents as I used the Home for the Holidays collection 🙂

mdgor5

To make the image pop out I used plaid patterns for the background:

mdgor6

The decorative elements here include birdswing charm and plaid ribbon with some sweet little flowers:

mdgor7

To imitate light glow, I use white gel pen, like here on the apple:

mdgor8

I hope some girl would be happy to receive a card with the cute image in it 🙂

Supplies:

Maja Design papers: small pads for Vintage Baby and Home for the Holidays collections. Other: stamps: Gorjuss by Santoro; Distress inks, Stickles glitters: Ranger; flowers, ribbon, charm: my stash.

See you soon 🙂

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer here and I am super excited as mu journey with MajaDesign papers will carry on for the next 2016. I really love these papers and I would say 80 percent of my projects use them.

Today I will show you the album covers that I made for baby girl and baby boy. Both albums are covered with a fabric and are so nice to hold them in the hands. Sometimes I make these type of albums as custom orders and really enjoy the baby theme the most.

the back side of the album, the buttons are hand-stitched and also enforce the ribbon attachment.baby_boy_album_cover_petzer_maja_design_det4 baby_boy_album_cover_petzer_maja_design_det5

The chipboards I have used is from Blue Fern Studios and the butterfly I made using the moods by Martha Stewart, I absolutely love it and think I need to buy some more designs. The flowers are all from prima.baby_boy_album_cover_petzer_maja_design_det6

that’s how it looks like together with a card that I previously made from MajaDesign papers as well. This one the friend of mine got together as a set.baby_boy_album_cover_petzer_maja_design_together

and then there is one pink, for the baby girl:

and the close ups:

the hearts are from the felt and on top are the enamel dots, lots of lace

Of course, its quite obvious that the collection I used is Vintage Baby:
