Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Christmas is here! 🙂 This evening many people around the world will gather at their family tables to celebrate the Christmas Eve supper – something I always look forward to through the year. I love the atmosphere, the smells of delicious meals, the lights and the decor of the holidays. And today I bring you something I made to decorate my house – a hanging ornament:

Of course, I used the Happy Christmas collection 🙂 I die cut the ornament shape out of various papers and glued them together into an accordion:

…but went only half way through with it:

The other half is flat and decorated with stamps, poinsettias and snowflakes:

I also attached a small pearl and a tassel at the end:

As it is double-sided, it serves many purposes: you can hang it on the Christmas tree as a bauble or somewhere else in the house as a decor piece. And I really like how the accordion form showcases various paper patterns 🙂

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Spellbinders, Sizzix; stamps: Agateria; tassel: Marianne Design; pearls: my stash.

That’s my last post this year, so let me wish you a very merry and blessed Christmas, spent with loved ones, and all the best in the new year!

See you in January! 🙂

Hello friends.  Jennifer Snyder here today to share a cozy home decor piece for the holidays.

As the weather turns colder, my creativity also starts to focus on Christmas and holiday cheer. I took this opportunity to create a Christmas home decor piece using Maja Design’s Traditional Christmas season.

My shadowbox used a combination of the 12×12 papers and 6×6 papers from the collection:  Singing Carols, Santa’s Elves, Family Gathering, By the Fireplace.

I used the collection as the wall paper  for the Christmas scene, for the gift wrapping and for the adorable stocking hanging from the festive mantle. The 6×6 paper pads are great when making these smaller items.

Doesn’t the 6×6 Traditional Christmas collection make the most beautiful gift wrap?

Thank you for joining us today.  Happy crafting.
