Hello Sweet Maja Fans,

Lenet here today, I hope you all had a very nice , warm and festive Midwinter/Christmas /Yule or what you in your country or believes celebrate.

Today I have this gift card for you that I made for my daughter using the latest Christmas collection Happy Christmas.

This is the front,  the A gift for you sentiment  is made with  a Waltzingmouse stamp.

The card closes with a red and white bakers twine.

My kids are gamers so give them  a giftcard for , playstation ,STEAM or whatever they want . Because the don’t really sell real giftcards any more but give you an voucher instead.

So I made a little envelope containing the voucher with code to put in the giftcardholder , wich I made using a die from lawn fawn.

And of course I did some fussy cutting again. The Merry Christmas sentiment is a piece of the bottom strip of one of the papers.

I decided to make more christmas cards thru the year so I don’t have to do them all in a hurry at the end of the year.

Just so you know I’m not confusing dates or time of the year when you see me posting a christmas card in mits of summer

I hope you like this giftcard I made.

I wish you very happy holidays and hope to see you again soon.

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Christmas is here! 🙂 This evening many people around the world will gather at their family tables to celebrate the Christmas Eve supper – something I always look forward to through the year. I love the atmosphere, the smells of delicious meals, the lights and the decor of the holidays. And today I bring you something I made to decorate my house – a hanging ornament:

Of course, I used the Happy Christmas collection 🙂 I die cut the ornament shape out of various papers and glued them together into an accordion:

…but went only half way through with it:

The other half is flat and decorated with stamps, poinsettias and snowflakes:

I also attached a small pearl and a tassel at the end:

As it is double-sided, it serves many purposes: you can hang it on the Christmas tree as a bauble or somewhere else in the house as a decor piece. And I really like how the accordion form showcases various paper patterns 🙂

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Spellbinders, Sizzix; stamps: Agateria; tassel: Marianne Design; pearls: my stash.

That’s my last post this year, so let me wish you a very merry and blessed Christmas, spent with loved ones, and all the best in the new year!

See you in January! 🙂

Goodmorning lovely Maja Design Fans,

I am sorry for being so absent the last couple of months I have been very busy with my little family and my design life! But I am very delighted to show you my latest cards that I made with the gorgeous “Happy Christmas” collection. The flowers are handmade and for the those flowers I used a range of pretty dies to make them. All the beautiful boards are by the wonderful Renea Bouquets. These are tall cards because of the big flowers I made and otherwise it wouldn’t fit lol.

For the base of the cards I used the monochromes papers that matches the papers collection. Then I layered two different sheets on top of that and the top sheet I have stitched around the edges. All the beautiful boards I kept plane just as I like them the best. As you can maybe also see is that I used Maja Design stamps they are a little older but oh sooooo pretty

I have used a lot of dies in the proces but what I like most is the way that the beautiful boards coordinate so well in every project I make.I added a stencil on the background sheets as well. I finished of my cards with some shard glitter glass & some snow.
Beautiful Maja Design papers used:

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely Maja Design papers and create and have fun while doing so. Have a wonderful weekend and I would like to wish you a very merry Christmas from my family to yours

Hugs

Hello friends.  Jennifer Snyder here to share some bi-fold Christmas cards with you.

Maja Design has two fabulous collections to use all through the year:  Bohemian Harmony and Happy Christmas.  Each collection also has a coordinating monochrome collection:  Shades of Boho and Shades of Happy

Here is the first card created using the gorgeous Bohemian Harmony collection.  While not a traditional “Christmas” look, it still works nicely with the chipboard wreath used as the main design element.

Some extra design details: The chipboard used on both cards today is from Creative Embellishments and it’s been gussied using Stickles glitter glue.  The background die is from Spellbinders.

Here is the second card which features the Happy Christmas collection.  The chipboard wreath has been embellished using glitter buttons from Buttons Galore and More.

Thank you for stopping here to visit.  Wishing you a wonderful warm Christmas season.

Happy Crafting.

Merry Christmas

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

No, I’m not here to wish you a happy Christmas – not yet 🙂 That’s just the title of the layout I made using our festive collection Happy Christmas:

When I saw this gingerbread cookies paper I instantly thought of this photo of my elder son from preschool, when he discovered the fun of playing with gingerbread dough (which was officially called “baking” :D) But I also wanted to showcase more beautiful patterns and motives, so I used the gingerbread paper for the middle panel that I placed against a darker star-patterned sheet. I used a signature strip at the top pf the layout and since I love the gnomes motif too I just cut it out from its original paper and added it to my page 🙂

I die-cut other decorative elements from various papers, as well as the heart and star shapes from kraft cardstock and added some patterns with white gel pen to make them look like gingerbread cookies 🙂

I also added some crystal stones, an art clay angel and glitter snowflakes to finish the layout. And I really like the way it turned out!

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Magnolia, Craft&You Design, CreaLies; border punch: Martha Stewart; angel mold: Prosvet; crystals: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!
