Magic Winter Time

Goodmorning lovely Maja Friends,

Since December was such a roller coaster for my family I am so happy that January is upon us. A new start and some of my wishes will come true in 2018. Happy New Year everyone….I will be giving some workshops using Maja Design papers this year so that is awesome, for today I have a 12×12 layout to share with you all. For this layout I used the pretty “Joyous Winterdays” collection oh how I love that collection.

For this layout I also used some different flowers then I normally do the white ones are by 49 and Market and the other from a different brand. This layout consists out of three layers and I used the green and blue shades again I really love that color combination. to fill up my flower clusters I also added some pine cones and some die leaves.

Maja Design papers used: Santa Claus, Ephemera, Ephemera bs, Evergreen bs, Outdoors bs, Pick a tree bs.

Kerstin is back to share with you a new layout inspiration with a wintery feeling.

I used the paper collection ‘Joyous winterdays’ from Maja Design, because
I was inspired from the story of this wonderful paper sheet ‘Snowball fight’.

Have you seen this little boy at the lower right edge ? !
Yes it’s wintertime, the first snow is being celebrated immensely,

enjoying building a snowman, ice-skating or having a funny snowball fight.

Always a pleasure and not only for children 🙂

the Monochrome collection ‘Shades of Winterdays’ has exactly suitable colors, here I used ‘Dusty Teal bs’ for the cutting die -lantern-

his favourite teddy bear on the bench sees everything 🙂

added with some leftovers, cutting die ‘Trees’, corrugated cardstock and some snowballs

– The name is the product – here I used the lower stripe from ‘Emphera bs’ as titel

Good morning lovely Maja Designs Fans,

Today I am back with you all to show you two tall cards I have created with the lovely “Joyous Winterdays” I can not help it but I really love this collection it seems like every year the collections become more and more prettier then they already are. And oh wow the newest collection is so gorgeous you will not believe it <3 … Both cards are with a bunch of handmade flowers made with my favorite dies. For both card I used the same color scheme blues and greens with a touch of creme.

Hello Maja Fans!

It’s Christmas eve my dear friends and I’ve already wrapped all of my presents. I’ve made several cards to accompany them and I though I should share one of them with you.

I choose to use the ”Playful” paper from the ”Joyous Winterdays” collection.

I made a few layers from the same paper using both sides of it to give dimension to my card.

Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the Joyous Winterdays collection. The weather is a little bit crazy nowadays, cold, windy, … So I was thinking that perhaps a hot chocolate will be a great idea, what do you think?

I began to add some random stamping. Next, I primed the background with clear gesso. I find that the stamp images are crispier that way.

Next step, I added a design with a stencil and Platinum crackle paste. I love the pearl effect of this paste.

While the crackle was drying, I painted the chipboards with different inks and Magical. When the title was dry I embossed it with a clear embossing powder.
