Hello dear Maja fans,

It’s my time again to make a blogpost for you . This time I bring you a 4x4inch mini album.

For this album I used one of my favorite papers Summer crush. I just love the soft colors it reminds me of long warm summers .

I could use it while I was making this album  because we had very cold weather at the time.

I made some pockets with blank labels in it that  can be used for journalling or maybe an extra picture.

on the front cover I glued a jar lid as a frame and filled it with some cheesecloth, tiny pearlstring , flowers and a heart.

I used my bind it all to bind all the pages together and tied a baby blue ribbon and white lace unto it to make it complete.

Now sit back and enjoy my album, I must warn you there are quite a of pictures to see.

I hope you enjoy it and that I gave you some inspiration to create your own mini album or some other creation with these wonderful papers.

Have fun.

Hello Maja design fans,

Happy Monday, for today’s post i made a layered monochromatic card.I so loved this soft turquoise shades,i have used papers from “Vintage spring basics” and “Vintage  summer basics”.I have used two sheets front and back and layered theme alternately. All the die cuts are also cut from pattern papers.

The flowers are handmade using foamiran sheets,i generally dont make flowers but this is super easy and look so gorgeous(isn’t it?).I have used some chipboard designs and laces amongst the layers. All the layers and die cuts are given a coat of white gesso using dry brush to give a weathered look.

I have also splattered some white paint and added few butterflies to finish off.More close ups for you..

Maja papers used: 1934 , 1934 bs , 6th of march , 6th of march bs

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy crafting

Hello dear friends, Evgenia Petzer with you today. I have prepared the large album (although the size is only 20 by 20 cm), by large I mean the amount of work, papers, details, photos that I have used in it.

Its the young and beautiful couple who got married in Australia but the girl is from Russia.

So from Russia with love… I have made it using the fabrics that I picked in blue/grey palette.

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

With Christmas coming closer and closer, I think it’s a good moment to start some serious Christmas cardmaking 😉 For my today’s post I created two cards, using the latest Joyous Winterdays collection and the traditional holiday red and green palette:

Both my cards feature a manger scene chipboard pieces. In the first card I chose darker red and green flourish patterns layered upon light paper for contrast:

I covered the chipboard piece with crackle accents and decorated it with die-cut leaves and snowflakes, a petaloo flower, tiny pom-poms and crystals and an acrylic angel button:

In the other card I created a shadowbox frame for the chipboard piece, but as the card is to be mailed, I kept it just barely raised:

I covered the chipboard manger with glitter and decorated with a mulberry flower, large crystal that looks like frozen ice, and some die cuts:

I really love how easy it is to get a vintage, shabby look for your projects with Maja papers! Just perfect for traditional Christmas cards 🙂

And here’s what I used to make my cards:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Magnolia, Impression Obsession, Sizzix, Joy!; holly punch: Woodware; flowers: Petaloo, Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard: Wycinanka; glitter: Ranger; pom-poms, button: my stash.

I do hope you find some inspiration for your Christmas cards 🙂

See you soon!
