Jennifer Snyder here to share a Valentine’s gift set.  The gorgeous raspberry pinks in the Maja Design Summertime collection are perfect for Valentine’s Day.
My gift card set was created with a cool shadowbox die from Spellbinders  and the card was made with a heart die from Spellbinders.
Below is a look at the papers I used for the Shadowbox.
Smell the Roses
In the Garden Die Cuts
Flowers Everywhere (B side)
The beautiful flirty bicycle image is from the die cut sheet in the Summertime collection.
The flowers were custom made using another Spellbinders die and cut from papers from the Summertime collection.  Perfectly coordinated.
Next I made a matching card to accompany the Shadowbox Valentine.  The card was made using the following papers:
Flowers Everywhere
Garden Bouquet (B side) .

Thank you for stopping here.  I hope your day is filled with love and joy and crafty delights from Maja Design.

Hello.  Jennifer Snyder here to share a little sunshine and warmth on a blustery cold winter day.  It’s only January but I still look toward the summer sunshine.  In my opinion, it’s never too soon to daydream about the summer.

To help my summer mood,  I am using the gorgeous Summertime collection by Maja Design.
The Summertime collection features beautiful raspberry pinks and reds with soft blues.
Here are the sheets I used from the Summertime paper collection:
Flowers Everywhere (A and B side of paper)
Garden Bouquet (A and B side of paper)
The nested medallions were created using Spellbinders dies.

When you are working with beautiful papers, it’s easy to see that even simple cards have grace and will make someone smile.

Thanks for stopping at Maja Design.  Happy crafting.

Wish it was Summertime

Hello Maja Friends,

it’s snowing and chilling outside, and I feel that I miss Summertime already

So that is why I chose Summertime collection for my post today

I like doing fussy cutting for my cards, so I kept on doing this time too. The roses and the florals are really delicate and so beautiful

I’ve added some flower embellishments too

But made all the cards different

For my second card I made die cutting and used the cardstock from  Monochromes Shades of Denim

They match each other perfectly

I kept the blue color palette as primary color but added the coral shades too

Also I made stamping on the vellum and heat embossed the frames, that I cut out after.

Products used:

Summertime  and Monochromes Shades of Denim collections:

Spellbinders Die – Time Flies , Frames and Ovals, Prima Marketing Flowers, 2Crafty Chipboard.
The Ton Frame Stamps

Hello Maja Friends,

August – my favorite Summer month, though it is the last before the dull and rainy days come. However I like it more than any month.
So that is why I enjoy looking through the pictures taken this summer and to create something that is associated with this particular month.

I combined several Summer collections for my Layout – Summertime, Summer Crush and Life in the Country.

I tried to keep the red and greens on my layout, using the paper layers, and added some embellishments of yellow and orange.

I also stretched the colors from the photo – soft blue and pumpkin and played with the acrylic paints .

I added some fussy cutting, though I mixed the greens and reds from almost the same patterned papers.

So it’s time to enjoy each and every day this Summer, hope you will follow my advice.

Products used:

Prima Marketing flowers, 2Crafty chipboard, Wycinanka Chipboard, Pentart acrylic Paints.

Hello everyone!

Today a new inspiration for Maja Design. Two pages for a new minialbum with my favourite theme Summer by the Sea. We have a very hot and especially dry summer here and every thought of a cool fresh sea breeze is more than welcome.

”You can shake the sand from your shoes,

but it will never leave your soul”

I used a beautiful neutral sheet ‘Wind in my hair’ from the ‘Summertime’ collection as underground paper. The tags from this collection

were a wonderful addition and very practical to attach my flip flop images.

some details

I have added some cut out elements from the ‘Life by the sea’ paper collection

and some wooden shape mini elements from Calico Craft Parts

an amazing little parasol and a die cut flower as sun
a background stamp with an old Kogge
Thanks for your visit!
I wish you a wonderful summertime!
