Hello crafty friends.  Jennifer Snyder here with love and virtual hugs for everyone.  I think we all needed this new fresh start in the new year and I believe we all need to surround ourselves in crafty love if that helps to relieve stress.

Let Maja Design help with spreading the love through it’s amazing collections.   I used the  “Winter Is Coming” collection for this card as well as the perfectly coordinated companion solid collection, Monochrome Shades of Winter.

The individual papers used from these collections are “A good book”  and  “Dusty Wine” from the solid collection. While the collection may have a winter name, the collection can be used all year round.  Can you tell from looking at my images this is a winter collection?  No way.

The dies used on this card are from Spellbinders Monthly die club and Spellbinders Birthday Sentiments die set.  They look marvelous showcasing the Maja Design papers.

Happy 2021 everyone.  We wish you the very best that 2021 and Maja Design have to offer AND MORE.

Happy 2021 New Year

Hello Maja Friends,

I guess that 2020 for  many people was not the best one and few hours left and it will pass away.

I do believe that the upcoming 2021 will be  much better and I’ve got 2 cards to share with you today, that I made with the brand new Winter is Coming collection that is so very awesome.

I am in love with the colors and the images this collection has, so very feminine.

I made some fussy cutting and played with paper layers too.

The vintage looks is so smooth that it makes me feel that it is not cold outside, though it isn’t .

So if you want to impress some of your friends, so these papers are the best choice, though they are not only for winter projects, you may use it all year round.

I also have one more card that I made recently and I can not but show it too.

I played almost with the same papers and images, and those ladies are really fabulous, don’t you agree with me?

I used 6×6 paper pad , so it has the perfect images size for the cards.

Wishing you all the best in 2021 , keep safe and keep on crafting.

Good day to you, Maja Friends!

Today we are happy to introduce to you all a special Guest Designer – Agnieszka Cebula from Poland, an artist known for her fabulous flower creations:

Agnieszka says: “Scrapbooking has been my passion for 8 years now, and flowers are my special love. I mostly make them myself from foamiran using various dies. My favourite form are cards with rich flower clusters. I’m an educator and a designer organising classes and workshops. I also design my own dies for my brand, Fiori Agnieszka Cebula.”

Agnieszka loves the vintage style of Maja Design papers and combined our two latest releases, Winter Is Coming and Traditional Christmas to make two Christmas cards:

“Apart from papers from the latest collections I also used theme chipboard and my handmade foamiran flowers. As usually, I accented my designs with gesso and glitter”

Here’s the list of Maja papers Agnieszka used for her cards:

What do you think of Agnieszka’s style? Let us know in the comments!

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

So Maja Design did it again – released two winter collections that are absolutely gorgeous! You already saw some fabulous projects of my talented DT friends using the Traditional Christmas collection (which I’m still about to cut 😉 ) and I think it’s a good moment to share some inspiration using the other set – Winter Is Coming. Now, you might be lucky to live in a part of the world where winter means good weather and a lot of sunshine, but that’s not the case in central Europe 😉 So winter coming means gloomy weather, cold and rainy (not much luck with snow, though, as of recently) and it’s best to stay inside and warm up with something yummy to cheer up. And it’s good to have best recipes at hand, gathered in one nice recipe book:

As you see, the collection is (as all Maja papers) universal enough to mask its “winterness” 🙂 And looking at the colour palette, don’t you just think plum pie and raspberry jam?

I used a mix of papers for the front cover as I couldn’t decide which one to feature! That mix made a colourful background for the stamped and hand-coloured image of a girl, to which I added a cupckae button, an embossed chipboard title and a spoon-shaped charm:

Inside I added some more stamping and a die-cut kitchen mixer:

I included some pre-printed pages to write recipes on

:

…and added a pocket for some loose pieces to the inside back cover:

I think a handmade recipe book would make a great Christmas gift. What do you think?

Here’s my list of supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stamps: Stamping Bella, Tim Holtz, Inkadinkado; dies: Spellbinders; button: Lemoncraft; chipboard: Scrapiniec; charm, ribbon: my stash.

That’s all for today, keep dropping by for more inspiration! See you soon!
