Hello Sweet Maja Fans

It’s my turn again to give you a little inspiration. Today I bring you this Christmas card.

As christmas is getting closer I went to my christmascard stash and noticed I ned to make some more cards if I want to sent my loved ones a hand made card.

So this is one less to make.

For this card I used  papers from the Joyous Winterdays,  a beautiful collection in red, green and bleu….love it , the Monochromes -shades of winterdays.

for the centerpeice of the card I made a rosette using the large Tim Holtz rosette die,  the number 25 and rudolf ( who I gave a red nose with a little pearl )are made with movers and shakers dies from Tim Holtz as well.

The ribbons and the Merry Christmas are made with the cut off strips of the 12″x12″ papers.

I hope you enjoy this card I made for you.

Happy crafting  and don’t forget to check in tomorrow for new ispiration brought to you by one of the other Maja Girls.

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Many sites are already filled with Christmas products and inspiration, and you know Maja has released a new Christmas collection as well 🙂 But before we fall entirely into the holiday mood, let me share another wedding card:

This time I used Monochrome papers of the Denim & Friends collection, and an almost plain sheet from the main collection – they provided a perfect, delicate background for a rich flower cluster and some art clay elements:

The photo light in Poland is not good until next spring 😉 but i hope you can see the delicate glimmer of the gold foiled elements and the ribbon I used, as well as of the crystal flower centre and gold sequins scattered here and there on the card:

I built the embellishments cluster upon paper straws in matching colours:

The card turned out pretty dimensional, so I used a card box for it too. I decorated the lid with washi tape with the chevron pattern perfectly matching the straws 🙂

This is what I love most about Maja papers: they are so versatile that even themed collections can be used for just about any theme and occasion 🙂

And here’s what I used for my card:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; art clay molds: Prosvet; stamp, box: Latarnia Morska; washi tape: Dekoracyjna Taśma; ribbon, straws: my stash.

And that’s all for today, visit us often for more inspiration!

A Very Merry Christmas!

Hello, and happy Monday! Welcome to the Maja Design Blog! It’s Nancy here, with my first Christmas card of the season to share with you. I can barely believe the festive season is almost upon us, as I still have a couple of Christmas items on my desk from last year that I’ve been meaning to put up-lol.

I’m working with Maja Design’s gorgeous ‘I wish’ collection today. It’s full of warmth and holiday cheer. Looking at the joyful images makes me feel like baking up a batch of holiday cookies while singing my favorite carols.

Several layers of distressed papers are stitched together, topped off with a die cut oval, then embellished with wintery florals and fussy cut images from the paper collection.

A dusting of snowy Gesso adds a wintery chill, and the final touch is, as always, a bow!

Below is a closer look at the hand cut images, which includes the sentiment.

There is plenty of space on the inside of the card to write a Christmas greeting.

Maja Design Papers Used:

Other Products Used: Twine, Paper Flowers, Holiday Greenery, Jingle Bells, Gesso.

Thank you so much for joining us on the blog today! I wish we could all sit down to a cup of tea and talk all things crafty. May your week be filled with love, happiness, and the joy of creativity!

Hugs,

Nancy Dynes
