Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

The spring has come! And although March (and often April) in Poland are rather capricious when the weather is concerned, this year is exceptionally gracious. The sun comes out more and more often, the temperature is nice, not much rain – you just want to go for a walk 🙂 And feel like creating flowery cards, like the one I have for you today:

I used…well, yes, the Christmas papers again, but don’t they look very springy here? 😉 I combined the Monochromes sheets with the beautiful Ephemera backside paper. I distressed all the papers and layered them for a vintage, shabby chick background:

I wanted the card to be glamorous, so I added a cluster of roses with golden-lined petals and pearl rose leaves and a stamped sentiment that I heat-embossed with gold ep. The sentiment is mounted on a doily die-cut from mirror gold cardstock:

I added mirror gold pearls and some filigree chipboard flourishes covered with glitter. Tell me about the shine 😀

The card turned out pretty dimensional, so I added a card box decorated with glitter washi tape:

I like the way it turned out, bulky and glamorous 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Cheery Lynn Design; flowers, leaves: Prima; stamp: Lemonade; chipboard: Scrapiniec; ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; pearls: my stash.

For the next post I promise not to use Christmas papers anymore 🙂 The spring has come!

Jennifer Snyder here with a card that will make you smile.  It’s the “No Prob-llama” card featuring the beautiful Enjoying Outdoors Collection.
Here are the papers used from the collection:
Gardening (both A and B side)
Picking Flowers (both A and B side)
The llama and cactus are coordinating die/stamp sets from Fun Stampers Journey – the “No Prob-llama” stamp/die set and the Arizona Trail stamp/die set.
I have added some foam to make the cactus pop and then decorated the cactus with mini flowers.

There is something so darling and trendy about llamas.  This little darlin looks like it’s smiling right back at me.  And the Maja Design, Enjoying Outdoors collection is perfect for subtle color.

Thanks for stopping today.  Happy Crafting
