Hello sweet Maja fans,

Lenet here on this grey and rainy day. Well that’s what the weather is like here in the Netherlands.

Perfect weather  to put on your warm and comfy homewear, get a big mug of something nice and warm to drink and get crafting.

Today I bring you these three christmas cards.

For these I used the natural/craft colors of the 6×6 paperpad of this years Christmas collection Happy Christmas.

These are not the normal colors I would use for my christmas crafting, but I love how they turned out.

And who doesn’t love  christmas or  yule gnomes ?Well I do !

And I love these little guys, the are chippies from Scrapaholics,

I mixed some acrylic paint in the colors of the papers I used and painted them .

When they were dry I gave them a layer of clear embossing powder to give the colors and the little guys some dept and shine.

I did all the stitching by hand.

And here you can take a closer look at  each of the cards.

I hope you like my little gnome Christmas cards,

Thank you for visiting and hope to see you again soon.

 Goodmorning everyone,

I am very pleased you are here on this wonderful blog with me today. This time I am sharing another layout with you all for this layout I used the “Christmas Season” collection by Maja Design for a non Christmas layout love to do that every ones in a while. I am also very happy that I have a sewing machine again {Oh how I’ve missed that on my layouts} For this layout I went with the darker red, minty & cream shade of colors!

My Precious Baby Girl:

I am in love with the pretty laces “Renea Bouquets” offers they are very delicate & beautiful. I really like to wrinkle my papers so I did that for this layout too I will try to make a short video for you in the near future of how I do that. The background paper I stitched around the edges and I added a Finnabair stencil then I placed my cream sheet on top of that a little out of the middle. Also all the embellishments that I have used are by Renea Bouquets I think they go so well with all the Maja Design papers.

This time I left the beautiful boards just the way they are in the cream tones just like my paper and of course I used a picture of Abbey she is my muze….to finish my layout I added some art stones & some Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays.

In the metal pins I added a piece of paper from the same collection and the glass dome was placed on top of that piece of paper with some glossy accents.

Maja Design papers used: Christmas Season – All wrapped up, Hang the Mistletoe bs & Best Time of the Year

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely Maja Design papers and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny week!

Hugs

Hello Sweet Maja Fans.

I’m one of the people who can’t wait till Christmas,

I never do someting fancy just  hanging on my couch with a blanket hot tea or coco watching christmas movies . A lazy, cozy Christmas.

This year most of the time with my son who decided to sleep over this year, our daughter made plans with friends and my husband is at sea with the holidays.

I always buy some kind of countdown calander, filled with cocolate or something else. Last year I had one filled with wine.

I had a small one glass bottle everyday and there were some very nice ones in it.

This year I decided to make one my own with the great new collection traditional Christmas.

And here it is:

It’s an countdown calender from the dollarstore that I coverd with layers of the peace and joy sheet ,and added some  “snow ” made with glitter, gesso , 3D-gel  and mica flakes from Mellissa Frances.

I cut out some little gnomes  from the 6×6 paperpack of Traditional Christmas and placed them in the “snow”

Made some ornaments with numbers using the 6×6 PaperPack as well, so I can count down the days

Thank you very much for visiting, hope to see you back again.

Take care and stay Safe!

Christmas giftpocket.

Hello sweet Maja fans,

Lenet here and today it’s my turn to give you some inspiration.

This time I bring you a Christmas Gift Pocket.

It can be used for small gifts, or giftcards things like that.

I have gamer kids and I always give them a  game card for their , playstation , xbox, steam ,World of Warcraft something like that.

I think this pocket is a nice way to wrap it.

I know Christmas is about 2 months away and we have Halloween first , but time is passing by so fast and before you know it, it’s  December  already.

So I made this gift pocket using the Christmas Seasons collection.

The little elves I cut out of the Tidy elves sheet, They are so cute , don’t you think so?

The sentiment is a piece  from the bottom strip of the Best time of year sheet.

At the back I made this string-closure and attached two little bells at the end of the string.

The Been Good? sentiment is stamped with a stamp from Waltzing Mouse.

This is the pocket open. I used my pocket punch board from WeR memorie makers for this Gift pocket.

Thank you for visiting , I hope you like my giftpocket.

Stay safe and healthy, hope to see you back the next time.

Glamorous Wishes

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

The spring has come! And although March (and often April) in Poland are rather capricious when the weather is concerned, this year is exceptionally gracious. The sun comes out more and more often, the temperature is nice, not much rain – you just want to go for a walk 🙂 And feel like creating flowery cards, like the one I have for you today:

I used…well, yes, the Christmas papers again, but don’t they look very springy here? 😉 I combined the Monochromes sheets with the beautiful Ephemera backside paper. I distressed all the papers and layered them for a vintage, shabby chick background:

I wanted the card to be glamorous, so I added a cluster of roses with golden-lined petals and pearl rose leaves and a stamped sentiment that I heat-embossed with gold ep. The sentiment is mounted on a doily die-cut from mirror gold cardstock:

I added mirror gold pearls and some filigree chipboard flourishes covered with glitter. Tell me about the shine 😀

The card turned out pretty dimensional, so I added a card box decorated with glitter washi tape:

I like the way it turned out, bulky and glamorous 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Cheery Lynn Design; flowers, leaves: Prima; stamp: Lemonade; chipboard: Scrapiniec; ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; pearls: my stash.

For the next post I promise not to use Christmas papers anymore 🙂 The spring has come!
