Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

The spring has come! And although March (and often April) in Poland are rather capricious when the weather is concerned, this year is exceptionally gracious. The sun comes out more and more often, the temperature is nice, not much rain – you just want to go for a walk ๐Ÿ™‚ And feel like creating flowery cards, like the one I have for you today:

I used…well, yes, the Christmas papers again, but don’t they look very springy here? ๐Ÿ˜‰ I combined the Monochromes sheets with the beautiful Ephemera backside paper. I distressed all the papers and layered them for a vintage, shabby chick background:

I wanted the card to be glamorous, so I added a cluster of roses with golden-lined petals and pearl rose leaves and a stamped sentiment that I heat-embossed with gold ep. The sentiment is mounted on a doily die-cut from mirror gold cardstock:

I added mirror gold pearls and some filigree chipboard flourishes covered with glitter. Tell me about the shine ๐Ÿ˜€

The card turned out pretty dimensional, so I added a card box decorated with glitter washi tape:

I like the way it turned out, bulky and glamorous ๐Ÿ™‚ What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Cheery Lynn Design; flowers, leaves: Prima; stamp: Lemonade; chipboard: Scrapiniec; ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; pearls: my stash.

For the next post I promise not to use Christmas papers anymore ๐Ÿ™‚ The spring has come!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

It always amazed me how kids can be happy about pretty much anything. But there is not greater joy than that when their dreams come true. And which little boy doesn’t dream about a bike? I was lucky enough to have captured that joy – my younger son’s first ride on a “big” bike ๐Ÿ™‚

Just look at his beaming face ๐Ÿ™‚

I didn’t actually plan to use these papers, but they happen to perfectly match the colour palette of the photo, so…yep, it’s March and I’m still using the Christmas collection ๐Ÿ˜‰ I layered pieces of papers upon a neutral cream background of papers from other collections, which I decorated with a brickwall pattern using a Prima stencil – I wanted to repeat the pavement pattern. I know, it’s not perfect, but it’s close enough. I also added some die-cut tags:

To enhance the photo’s theme, I added a chipboard bike:

…and to enhance the photo’s golden mood, I added some golden accents:

Of course, I couldn’t do without some flowers ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m so glad I managed to take this photo! Now I can cherish this sweet memory so nicely completed with these beautiful Christmas Season papers ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers, stencil: Prima; chipboard: Tim Holtz, wycinanka; button: Lemoncraft; foam word: American Crafts; twine: Divine Twine.

And that’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

This week my elder son will ccelebrate his Confirmation. And suddenly I realised I have never made a Confirmation card before! ๐Ÿ™‚ So today I bring you two cards for this occasion, one for a girl and the other for a boy.

I kept the design pretty simple, with light background papers, delicate flower combos and filigree chipboard pieces. I decided not to use patterned papers in the background and instead added some texture with die-cut doilies.

The girl’s version features traditional pink tones:

… and the boy’s card goes with blue:

I think they turned out quite nice, delicate and fit for the occasion. And I really like the subtle look with Monochrome papers in the background, with just a hint of a pattern and still very decorative. What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Prima, Cheery Lynn Designs; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard: SnipArt; acrylic stones: Prima.

That is all for today, thank you for visiting and come back tomorrow for more inspiration from my DT friends ๐Ÿ™‚

With Love.

Hello sweet Maja Fans,

Lenet here and today I bring you this Valentine card,

I used papers of the Christmas Season collection for this cardย  just to show you that the Christmas collections are not just for Christmas projects and Christmas season .

As you seeย  you can use them very well for other projects like a Valentine card.

As center piece I used a chipboard heart that I decorated with red polkadotย  back side ofย  the Holly Jolly paper , distressed the edges and put a heart shaped lock on it.

I made a dangle with the key to the heart and attached it to the heart .

The flowers are from Prima Marketing and wild orchid crafts.

For the Card itself I used the back sides of : Deck the halls , Merry Night and Gift Shopping.

I’m so happy the Mood board challenges are back again! I always think the are a big inspiration , and it gave me the inspiration to make this card.

Did you take a look at this monthsย  Moodboard? There is still time to get isnpired and join the challenge, first prize is a collection of your choice!

I think that is a very good reason to enter don’t you? So come on and give it a try! can’t wait to see what you create.!

Good morning, dear Maja friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m sure you’re well aware of the day we’re going to celebrate on Thursday. But whether you celebrate St. Valentine’s Day or you consider it purely commercial crap, love is something always worth celebrating! And appreciating someone whom you love and who loves you is always precious ๐Ÿ™‚ Giving something you made yourself is the best way to show your feelings, whcih can’t go unnoticed. And here’s a pop-up box card I made for this occasion using the Christmas Season collection.

This orignal card form is flat when closed:

As this is the outer side, I decorated it subtly with alternating paper patterns and a small rose bouquet with a charm heart:

When open, the flat card becomes a box that stands on its own, and the upper flaps fold down to reveal the inside:

The secret lies in strips of paper attached inside the box body, which support a selection of elements: quite a few hearts, a die-cut “I love you” sign:

…and a cherub as well as mini postcards I cut out of one of the mini pad sheets and a post stamp image:

I extended the heart pattern with mini hearts on the front flap:

The side flaps feature rose images that correspond with the roses on the outside:

The message of the box is quite clear, but if you wanted to add something, there’s a tag in a pocket on the back, non-folding wall:

I really like the way it turned out, sweet and lovely ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Sizzix, Cottage Cutz, Impression Obsession; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; twine: Divine Twine; charm, ribbon: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting – and don’t forget to spread some love every day!
