Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

Did you celebrate the World Cardmaking Day last Saturday? I did, and among the cards I made I couldn’t miss using Maja papers! :) And here it is:

mdsl

But this time I selected the “plain” sides of sheets, as sometimes I like them even more than the patterned ones ūüėČ I layered two sheets from the Vintage Summer Basics and I simply LOVE how this 1946 sheet gives the perfect pastel shabby background with those white lines! I’m a rather poor media user and I would never ever brush the background myself to get those lines ūüėÄ

mdsl1

I added the wreath pattern using a stencil and white texture paste, then mounted the embossed sentiment circle in the centre and surrounded it with flowers. Then I added a lace bow and some bling :)

mdsl2

And I really love how dimensional it turned out!

mdsl3

So sometimes those plain papers are as gorgeous as petterned sheets when it comes to a perfect background, don’t you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stencil: Agateria; stamp: Lemonade: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; lace, bling: my stash.

Thank you for visiting today and see you later!

Good morning, Maja Fans, welcome to the blog today :)

This month Maja Design joins creative forces with Petaloo, so for my today’s projects I included some of their beautiful flowers. So my first card is baby girl baptism card:

mdbgirl

This is a twin card with the boy’s version I created following the beautiful palette of our September Moodboard challenge. It shares the same design and even stamp, of course coloured in girly pink, and features little pink Petaloo flowers:

Just like in the boy’s card, I coloured the image with Distress inks and embossed the sentiment with golden ep:

The other card is a wedding one:

For this card I selected brown patterns of the Vintage Autumn Basics papers and beige Petaloo flowers:

Ti finish my card off, I added some liquid pearls swirls and accented details with glitter:

And here’s what I used for my cards:

Maja Design papers:

Other: Flowers: Petaloo (Forgetmenots and Mixed Blossom in antique mauve and antique beige); chipboard: Scrapiniec; stamps: Whiff of Joy, Lemonade; dies: Crealies, Magnolia; lace: my stash.

And that is all for today, join us for the Moodboard challenge and keep stopping by our blog for inspiration every day :)

See you later!

Hello our blog friends. My today’s proposal is a notebook made with¬†the Summer Crush Collection. I think this notebook will stay with me for a little longer….

Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade Memories never fade DSC_0597I love every single details of these papers. It is already second paper-set used by¬†me. I keep every single element to use for cut some leafs or tiny circles. I will not write how I compose all layers cause this time it’s not so difficult. Simple but at the same time spectacular. I’m rally happy with the final result and the most important thing for me is to have fun. We create for enjoyment¬†¬†– remember it. Of course we have some trends … but try to follow¬†¬†your heart and keep a projects in your style.

Memories never fade… do you agree ?
