Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

It seems that summer has come to an end in Poland, with days getting visibly shorter and the air cooler with more and more rain… So perhaps it’s time to get into the autumn mood with the beautiful Bohemian Harmony collection that I used to make a wedding card:

I took inspiration for embellishing the card from the papers themselves: I recreated the flower cluster from the flower bouquets paper with flowers in matching colours and die-cut and chipboard leaves and twigs:

… and repeated the circle pattern of the background paper with a doily motif applied with white texture paste and a stencil in two corners of the card:

I mounted the paper layers on foam dots to make the card more dimensional:

And here’s what I used for my card:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima Marketing, Wild Orchid Crafts; stencil, chipboard pieces: Agateria; dies: Memory Box, Marianne Design, Spellbinders; gems: Prima Marketing.

I think the Bohemian Harmony collection is perfect for the late-summer and early-autumn projects, with its warm colours and soft patterns! What do you think?

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Good morning, Maja Friends, and welcome to the blog today! 🙂

Summer is traditionally the peak of the wedding season and therefore wedding cards and boxes are always  under construction on my desk 😀 Today I bring you one such box I made using the beautiful Everyday Life collection:

I selected pastel papers for the walls and lid, and also added embossed stripes of paper for more texture – don’t they look great?

On the lid I placed a cluster of flowers in matching colours that surround a stamped and heat-embossed sentiment. The leaves are die-cut from the Monochromes green papers:

For the inner walls of the box I chose the beautiful pastel beige leaves pattern, so perfect for the background! I added pockets for putting money into and also a panel for writing in short wishes:

Instead of the usual chipboard cake I put into my wedding boxes, I added a cute bridge with the newlywed couple on it and decorated the scene with mini roses and die-cut leaves:

I’m really happy with the result, the box turned out bright and elegant with pastel colours and pops of bold red both in the paper pattern and the flowers 🙂

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard: Anemone; dies: Spellbinders, Magnolia, CreaLies; stamp: Lemonade.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Hi everyone! I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. I am back with another wedding creation using the wonderful new collection Miles Apart.

Here is the top of the explotion box, where I have cut out a wedding cake from the Miles Apart paper collection. The dies are from Magnolia. And the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have sewed all the paper around and inside the box. And painted with some white Gesso here and there. On the heart on the top I have added some Stickles.

The text is written on the computer and printed out.

Here is a close up on one of the sides. Look how nice the papers fits together.

The text on the large banner is from Stempelglede.

Let’s open the box to see what’s inside.

All the sides are measuring 10 x 10 cm. And I have decorating them all with more yummy Miles Apart papers.

And here’s the lovely couple, just like the one popping up on a wedding cake. I have painted a stamp from Magnolia with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

And here is the close up. I just love the way the Maja papers are matching with Distresses.

The roses are from Wild Orchid crafts.

This post is soon finished, but I just have to show you some close ups of the details inside the box.

Also the tags are cut out with Miles Apart papers.

With some romatic texts from Norsk Stempelblad.

Here I have added another pocket to put some tags inside. Here with texts from Norsk Stempelblad and Stempelglede (left).

I wsh you a lovely week to come!

With love,

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I still can’t get over the Miles Apart collection! I hope you can’t either, as I bring you another card I made using that beautiful set:

I wanted this wedding card to be delicate, pastel and romantic, so I chose light papers in ivory and blush pink to make a background for a die-cut oval panel, upon which I placed a chipboard piece in the shape of newlyweds riding a bike. I think it’s a nice symbol of their future together, common  goals and direction 🙂

I covered the chipboard with subtle irridescent glitter to give it a more glamorous look. I also added a hand-cut stamp image from the Ephemera sheet, a “Postcard” stamped word and a couple of flowers. Opalescent sequins, ribbon with wedding rings pattern and tring complete the design.

The card turned out pleasantly dimensional…

…so I put it in a box decorated with metallic washi tape:

I love how the Miles Apart collection can be used for delicate, romantic projects 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: Chipboard: Wycinanka.pl; flowers: Prima; die: CreaLies; stamp: Tim Holtz; ribbon, sequins: my stash.

And that’s all for today, stay safe and well and visit us again soon for more inspiration!

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you the wedding card I made for an earlier pupil of mine’s wedding. So it was a bit special to be asked to make a card for her. Therefore I wanted to do something extra. So I made both a frame and a book, then put them together. And I had some perfect papers for it! Just love the new collection, Miles Apart.

All sides are decorated with the gorgeous papers. Inside and outside.

On the front you see the frame I made here. The size of the card measure 14 x 15 cm.

The butterflies are cut out from a Maja Design sheet. This from The Vintage Spring Basics Collection, and it is called 6th of May.

Let’s open the book!

The stamps outside are from Magnolia. Inside I have used stamps from Stempelglede.

Inside the pocket on the left there is a paper to write a greeting on.

Here are the papers used:
