Today I have this wooden iron box to share with you.
I’m always looking for new shapes or things to alter and was happy to have found this iron shaped wooden box! 🙂 For this project I used the gorgeous new limited “Nyhavn” collection from Maja design.

Started this box with glueing the papers, A Dockside in bloom and Romantic lunch.
The metal butterfly is from Xenos.

Made the rolled up flowers from this collection as well and distressed all the edges.

Added a Prima flower and some handmade fabric flowers, which were made by my sweet friend Paulien.

Took a stencil and some modeling paste to create some texture.

My rolled up flowers with a sneak peek of a handmade thread flower.

Added some fun stamens between the flowers.

Papers used:

A Dockside in bloom
Romantic lunch
Rolled flowers with:
Eating out
A Dockside in bloom
Veteran ships
Strolling along the canal

Other products used:
modeling paste
stencil
dew drops
small roses
stamens
gauze
lace

Enjoy your day!

Hi all! My first project for Maja Design in this new year.
So happy to stay with this fabulous team for another year!
First of all, I want to wish all of my creative friends a wonderful, healthy and creative 2015!!!!
I want to begin this new year with a project I made for my daughter.
As you might know she is studying in America and this mom is seriously missing her! LOL!
I wanted to make something special so I created this photo frame and added the big handle, a bit symbolic so I can always carry her with me, like a little suitcase. I’m a bit sentimental, sorry! LOL
Btw…this girl is having the time of her live, so this mom is happy! 🙂

Made this photo frame with the gorgeous Vintage Autumn collection.
You can find the best embellies at the most strange places:  found those big wooden buttons at a local christmas market last year! 🙂
I used No.I for the front and No.XII for the front torn paper and the sides.
The pink rolled flowers were made with the heritage paper sheet.

My beautiful daughter.
Added some lace around the frame.
The chipboard, painted white with gesso, is from Dusty Attic.

These beautiful white fabric flowers are from 13arts.

Added some pearls, a Tim Holtz clock and Prima handles.

A metal handle from an old cabinet.
Gave it a touch with gesso.

This metal leaf and the dangle on the side were found at a local home decor store.

Papers used:
No.I, No.XII and heritage sheet (pink rolled flowers).

Enjoy your day!

I just love to sent cards to family and friends. I was almost running out so I decided to make some more. You can never have enough cards he? 🙂

Made these with the *A Gift for you* collection.

I used the *sent with love* sheet for the background.
Cut some strips of the *hope to see you soon* sheet.
Also added some bits of masking tape and some lace.

Added some modeling paste on the background using a template.
Some paint splatters for an extra color touch.
Made the circles with a white pen.

A lovely cluster of Scrapberry’s flowers and resins and some gauze,
together with some ribbon flowers and twigs from 13 Arts.

Added some flat turquoise pearls for an extra touch.

And here is my second card:
The text paper is from the *hope to see you soon* sheet.
Some punched flowers are also from this sheet, added with a brad.

The resins and the white/turquoise flowers are from Scrapberry’s

Some turquoise stitching.

A winter project for you today featuring Maja’s “A Gift for you” collection.
Added my favorite color, turquoise!

I took a reversed canvas and started to decorate with papers from the “A Gift for you”.
I used the backside of the *pictures and tag sheet* for my background and
*shipped from the North Pole* for the inside of the canvas.
For the border of the inner frame and the roof of the birdhouse I used the *when the snow is falling*.

This cute little bird was found between a lot of xmas decorations at a local store.

Added some puffy paint around the edges to give it a more wintery look.

On some spots on the canvas I glued some bits of kitchen paper towel and added a mix of modeling paste with 13 Arts glass filler. Once dry, I painted the brown and turquoise colors and gave it a touch of gesso for more effect.

The small birdhouse gives it a great 3D effect.

Wooden trees.

Some flowers and the white resin at the top of the canvas are from Scrapberry’s, together with the lovely white twigs from 13 Arts.

The birdhouse with the *when the snow is falling* papers.
Some white cotton balls to give it a more wintery feel.

The cute bird sitting on some twigs from 13 Arts.

Papers used:
*shipped from the North Pole
* when the snow is falling
* pictures and tags sheet

Wishing you a warm and cozy day!

Made this triptych for someone special as a holiday gift.
I used the “A gift for you” collection from Maja Design.

On the front I used the “shipped from the North Pole” sheet for the background.
Added some strips of this sheet and pieces of “when the snow is falling” and “on Christmas morning”.

The lovely handles are from Scrap-Unlimited, a Dutch online store.
They were given a touch of gesso.

Embellished it with a big white flower from 13Arts and small roses and mini cotton balls.

A lovely scenery on the inside with a torn piece of the “on Christmas morning” sheet.

All the small sides were decorated with the backside of the “on Christmas morning” sheet.

For the bottom edges I mixed some modeling paste with 13Arts glass filler.

The total inside with room for some journaling.
The journaling card comes from the pictures and tags sheet.
