Hello,I am here to share with you today, a LO I did, combining 5 of Maja’s Collections.

Out of the Life by the Sea Collection I used Bottle Message,Sailing,the East Coast & islands and skerries-BS Life-by-the-Sea-P

From the Gammaldags Jul Collection I used: Julbak,Julbak-BS, Goder afton-BS,Karamellstrut-BS,….I also used the die cut sheet from the Vintage Winter Collection & Virkad strampa-BS from the Frojdefull Jul Collection & the Days of December from the Vintage Frost Basics Collection. The chipboard used is from Dusty Attic. Here are some closeups of detail….

On the heart boarder,banners & stars I used MS texture effects,& sprinkled on some rock candy glitter, while the effects was still wet.Once that dried, I glued on some white micro beads….

On the Alpha & Bird of Paradise I used red pepper ink. On the Bird of Paradise I also added a coat of rock candy stickles & sprinkled on some rock candy glitter, while the stickles was still wet…..

I cut out pieces of Maja paper to cover the hearts,glued that to the chipboard, then applied some rock candy stickles…..

I did some stencil work using texture effects & prima 6×6 static stencil….

My next project is a altered cigar box using the Vintage Summer Basics Collection….

I used: 1932,1932-BS,1905 &1891 Here are a couple closeups of detail…..

I covered the box with the Maja papers,then applied a coat of rock candy crackle. I used pitch black ink on the black pieces,then applied some black gold tattered angels. Once that dried I rubbed on some Viva gold. On the lighter pieces I used Viva modeling paste,champagne. My flower centers were old cloth brads that I painted metallic gold,then glued on jump rings,seed beads,ect…

Hello,I am here to share with you a double LO,I did combining the Sofiero Collection & the Vintage Spring Basics Collection. The photo’s were taken by a friend,of her daughter & friend in my garden….

From the Sofiero Collection I used: The Elegant Wine House,A Romantic picnic in the park-bs, strolling down the rose path,strolling down the rose path-bs,enjoying the fragrance, enjoying the fragrance-bs,Princess Margareta’s Garden,& some of the bs’s of the labels…

From the Vintage Spring Basics Collection I used;2nd of May-bs

The Chipboard used is from Dusty Attic. Here are some closeups of detail…..

The photos were taken in the tree fort area,that is on the river bank…..

The flower centers were old cloth,bright cloth covered brads. I first painted them with gesso,then I applied MS texture effects. While the texture effects was still wet,I sprinkled on some seed beads & placed some pearls. I let that dry,then applied a coat of rock candy crackle…..

I did some stencil work,using crafters workshop (Art is) using molding mast. I stamped the flowers using gesso,then applied gesso to the edges using a small brush….

Shows some of my distressed,hand stitched layers. I also did some punch work…..

I covered the chipboard hearts,with some of the scraps of paper,then punched in eyelets…

I used some corrugated paper,cheese cloth,burlap & doily’s in my layers….

I love how the Maja papers distress!!!!!

I used picket fence crackle on the chipboard,then rubbed in brown chalk & inked the edges…

Bird houses & hearts in the flower clusters…

Cut out some butterflies, from the Vintage Spring Collection….

Hello,I am here to share with you a LO, I did using the Beautiful Vintage Frost Basics Collection. I just love this collection, & you can combine it with any of the other Vintage Basics Collections. I took this photo of a stocking I embroidered,way before I got hooked on scrapbooking…..

I combined the Vintage Frost Basics Collection & the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection. I did not have my Vintage Frost & wanted to get started on my stockings,so that is where I used the Vintage Autumn Basics……

From the Vintage Frost Basics Collection I used: 1st of Dec,19th of Dec-BS,5th of Dec,7th of Dec & some of the BS,s of the labels…..

From the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection I used: #II,#II-BS,& No X-BS

Other Products used: Dusty Attic Chipboard, Audrey Flower Collection from Prima,picket fence crackle,Marta Stewart Texture Effects,brads,seed beads,burlap,lace,glitter,stencils,(crafters workshop,Art is),(Prima,static)

Here are some close ups of detail…….

I covered the chipboard stockings, with scraps from the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection. I glued on a small piece of lace, as I was working with the layers in my stockings.I then hand stitched the stockings,strung some seed beads onto wire,& attached them to the stocking,then glued these on to the chipboard….

There are 10 stockings,so I put on our family names & the names of our dogs…..

On the string part of the stocking,I used gesso,then liquid accents & once that dried I applied stickles……

Shows a flower cluster,using bird houses in my cluster. I used walnut stain on the bird houses,then rock candy crackle & once that dried, I applied MS texture effect….

This shows some distressed hand stitched layers. I also did some punch work & stencil work….

The center of the wagon wheel is a old brad,that I applied gesso,seed beads, pearls & rock candy crackle….

I love these birds on the branch. I covered the birds with paper I was working with,the inked the edges. I used walnut stain on the stem,then rock candy crackle.On the leaves I used picket fence crackle….

Here is a Grad card I did using the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection. From this Collection I used: NoXX, NoXXII, NoXXI, the die cut sheet & some BS’s of the labels. The chipboard used if from Dusty Attic…..

Hello,I am here today to share with you a LO & a shadow box I did, using a couple of Maja’s amazing collections….

The photo is of a friends daughter,that she took in my garden…I used the Vintage Spring Basics Collection for this LO….

From the Collection I used:1st of May,2nd of May-BS,8th of March-BS,3rd of May-BS,7th of May,8th of March-BS & a BS of a label. The chipboard used is from Dusty Attic. Here are some closeups of detail….

I used walnut stain, then a darker ink pad on the skeleton clock. On the alpha,birdhouses & the leaves, of the vine boarder, I used picket fence crackle & once that dried I rubbed in & inked the edges with pinecone versa mark. I left the stem of the vine boarder raw,but put on dabs of liquid accents, to glue on seed beads….

The resin zippers are from Prima & the flowers used are from I am Roses & Petaloo (forget me nots,soft pink)…..

I love how Kelly blurs her subject….

I did a lot of fraying of burlap,& I believe this was Prima Ivory Burlap, that I was using. I hope it was because, I through out the package,before I discovered, how much I loved it. I am going to order the ivory burlap again & hope it is the right one….

Shows some of my distressed, hand stitched layers. I used seed beads on the flowers on the paper….

In these next 3 photo’s, you will see my main piece of frayed burlap. I cut out my paper,then glued it onto this piece of lace. I then glued the lace & paper onto the burlap (I used to pieces of burlap, the darker under the lighter, the way the threads go length wise). Once the glue dried I did my hand stitching. I then cut the burlap into the shape of the paper & the lace,leaving length.With my paper pierce, I frayed the burlap. You can now see,how much I love it, it is because of the two different colors & textures of thread….

My next step was to put some seed beads,onto the frayed burlap. I put a tiny bit of liquid accents, onto the end of the burlap & rolled it with my fingers. I then slipped on the bead & used another drop of accents, where I wanted the bead to stay….

Here is my next project, a shadow box,it was a lot of work & took a lot of time, but it was fun to do….

I used the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection…….

From this collection I used: No.II,No. X-bs,No.I, No.II-bs,

The chipboard used is from Dusty Attic. Here are some closeups of detail….

I used picket fence crackle, on the vase, on the fine detail area of the vase, I used liguid pearls (platinum). I then tied a ribbon around the vase, glued some tulle on the inside,added some rosebuds,bling & pearls. The rose buds are from I am Roses. I cut the candles off the other chandelier,so I was able to use the other piece over top this chandelier. On the base I used brown Spectrum noir (EB7), I find it very close to the brown used in the Maja Collections. I the applied rock candy crackle,& once that dried I rubbed in a gray chalk. I painted the candles with LuminArt’ rose petal & when that dried I applied liquid accents. I used gold liquid pearls on the flames…..

As soon as I saw Jenny’s LO,using the Audrey Collection from Prima, I put in a order,so happy I did, I love this collection.A close up of one of the flower clusters,using the Prima Audrey Collection, I am Roses,Dusty Attic Vine boarder,ribbon,pearls & bling….

I cut out my stockings, out of card stock. I then cut out little pieces of the Maja paper, I was working with & inked the edges,then glued those pieces, onto the card stock stocking. I also glued a piece of lace onto each stocking. I then glued the stockings onto a piece of ribbon,then attached this to the fire place….

A top view of the shadow box, it shows the depth, the shadow box is 2 inches deep. It is a Graphic 45 12×12. The front of the shadow box was also 2 inches,so I cut a inch of all the sides of the front….

Another flower cluster. I still worked with the Maja papers as I would as working with a LO,I distressed,layered & hand stitched……

I glued the brick panel,onto cardstock,before I started to work with it. There is detail, on the brick panel,that I did not want to loose. I then stained the panel with walnut stain. My next step, was to cut out my pieces, for the front of the shadow box & for the fireplace. I will explain the front of the shadow box first. After I glued the brick to the front of the shadow box, I applied rock candy crackle to the brick, & once that dried I rubbed in gray chalk. I used 2 coats of Martha Stewart texture effects for the mortar.Once the mortar dried I rubbed on some platinum liquid pearls, to tone down the white…

I used a old little jewelry box,for the base of my fire place. I cut the top part off a DA door for the front. I used the DA columns for the sides of it. I did the same to the brick as I did to the front of the shadow box. I used 5 layers of corrugated paper to raise the floor. I cut out little pieces,of the left over, to make my presents that are wrapped, in the Maja papers I was working with…..

The Christmas tree,with presents,& little teddy bear buttons,that I changed the color to match the pink in the paper…Here is how I made the tree….

There are 5 trees in the Christmas tree package # 2,I worked with all the trees,a couple you saw on my last Mood Board Post. I used the largest one in this shadow box. I first dipped the trees in warm water,I let the chip board adsorb the water,then peeled off the top layer (there are 3 layers).

I cut the next 2 layers together,then separated those layers…

I painted the bottom 2 layers with gesso,& the top layer with picket fence crackle….I only used a drop of glue, in the center, so that I could lift the layers

Once the picket fence crackle dried, on the top layer, I applied Martha Stewart Texture Effects to the outside edges….

I then glued the top layer onto the bottom 2 layers. I filled in all the open spaces (as you see in the photo above) with texture effects….

I then sprayed the tree with acrylic sealer,then glued on some seed beads & pearls…

For the tree I did in the shadow box,I also made a garland out of tulle & a strand of pearls…

Because I had about a inch of corrugated paper on the floor, I was able to use pins or whatever, depending on the of the pieces I was going to place in the shadow box. For the tree, I used the thing you tie up turkeys with. I first glued 2 pieces of chipboard down,then the pin in the center..

I then glued another piece of chipboard on top of that….

Hello, I am here to share with you a couple LO’s, I did using the Beautiful Autumn Basics Collection.The first one, is a photo of my youngest son, taken about 23 years ago,Time Flees!

I just love this collection!!!!!

From the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection, I used:No.XIII,No.XIII-BS,No.XVI,No.XX,No.XIV,No.XXI,No.XXIII,No.XXII-BS,the heritage sheet & some of the BS’s of the labels. The chipboard used is from Dusty Attic. Here are some close ups of detail….

I did my usual distressed,hand stitched layers. I cut out some of the parachutes & popped them. On this LO, I left all the chipboard raw…..

I cut out clocks from the No.XVI sheet,& inserted them into, the Dusty Attic & Prima clocks. The mini linen banners are from Maja Road…..

Here you see some punch work & tearing….

I did a rolled corner,by punching in eyelets,then tying a piece of ribbon around it. On the left side of the photo, is where I used some of the BS,s of the labels….

I also used some fabric in my layers,it was on some of my Halloween decorations….

I glued some seed beads in the fish net panel,& used some of Tim Holtz film strip…

Here is another LO I did,using the same colors, out of the collection,but the LO this time is of a little girl,that is another reason why I love this collection,it works so well with either boy ,or girl LO’s.

I used Dusty Attics sketch for this month. I did my usual distressed,hand stitched layers.I also used my favorite Martha Stewart punch. This summer I made some headbands & embellished some crochet hats, for the little girls that came over to visit. The lace piece with the flower,is one of the headbands, that I decided to use on my LO….

I love the dream catcher & I know that Kaylie’s Mother & Grandmother will to….

I got my inspiration from Gabi’s dream catcher,but I cannot doodle, so I worked with it, in a way I was more comfortable with. I first applied candy apple TA onto the dream catcher,using a brush. Once that dried, I did a bit of doodling. I painted picket fence crackle,onto the feathers,& while it was still wet, I drew in lines, with my paper pierce.I then inked, all the edges of the dream catcher,with a brown ink pad. The closest brown, in a ink pad, that I can find for the brown, in the Maja Collections,is Versa Mark (pine cone). My next step, was to work on the circle part,of the dream catcher.. It took time,but I am happy with how it turned out. I used a thin hemp string for this. I used mini glue dots on the back, & as I was wrapping the string around, I put a drop of liquid accents in the front. I like to use liquid accents because it dries fast,& my embellishments stay. I just about broke off,one of the dangling pieces,of the dream catcher, when I was about 3/4 away wrapping. So I stopped & applied liquid accents to the back of the DC,then when that dried I applied rock candy crackle to the front. I did this to strengthen the DC. Then I continued to wrap & embellish the dream catcher with pearls & beads…

I used picket fence crackle on both the ferns & feathers ( I did the same treatment,on these feathers,as I did on the feathers,that are on the dream catcher. Thank you so much for taking the time to look….Rachelle
