The colors are so beautiful and the details are subtile, yet amazing!
The collection I loved the most is no more in production, it was Minna Vänner Rosa-Marina. It seems that this collection will bring the same feeling again . I am looking forward to see these papers.
Thank you for giving us the chance to win this collection!
Hope you will make more of these wonderful collections!
Wish you lots of inspiration and a lovely week

This collection of papers is so inspiring. I have already thought of how I would use these papers. I have 4 granddaughters and the pink pallet is perfect. As I was looking at these papers I was thinking how much they feel like home, comfortable, relaxing, soothing. Seems how I can not get Maja Design here I would be Honored to win and show off your papers to so many and to as many scrapbook stores that I can to see if they could carry them. I had just spoke with Gabrielle at Such A Pretty Mess just a couple of weeks ago about how I love all the paper lines at Maja Design. Hope you consider me. I’ll be waiting by my computer.

Does it really have to be a one print run collection? So gorgeous and I would just love to be lucky enough to win some…..sigh!! :)

Seriously … this isn’t going to be one of those ‘I want collections’ it is going to be an ‘I need’ collection, actually to be honest … more like ‘I have to have’ … absolutely s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g. and some … it’s gorgeous.

My Mum and I have just started scrapbooking together and we came across your papers while we were looking for ideas online, and I have to say your papers are my absolute favourite!!! As soon as we saw them we loved them, they were all perfect. You have inspired us to turn the TV off and spend time doing our scrapbooking. All of your papers are beautiful and I can’t wait to spend time with my Mum creating layouts with your papers! (We just had to have them all!!) and I would love to have a chance of winning these papers so my Mother and I could share them together!

Yay!! Thanks again for an opportunity to pick up some beautiful Maja paper! I’m still trying madly to buy ANY Maja paper, let alone limited edition! So special, loving the damask and script along with the beautiful old fashioned roses. Just looking at Maja paper relaxes me. So sweet and delicate. Down here in Australia is a big struggle to get your hands on it. I have found a couple of online stockists but still unable to receive supplies for one reason or another. Can’t wait to be able to use this gorgeous paper xx

Big congratulations to you all! Please e-mail your physical address+phone number to, mark the subject “Sofiero winner”. We will send out the collection as soon as it’s printed.

Our July Mood Board is about the lazy days by the coast line. Listen to the seagulls, feel your skin burn and just enjoy the good days of life. It’s based on the Life By The Sea collection and I hope you’ll like it.

So make sure to stop by next Tuesday so you don’t miss it.

Hello everyone. The time runs so quickly, not recently we were waiting for the summer, and here we go – June has almost gone. It reminds me that I have to take more photos while my kids are playing outdoors.

And the most perfect papers that can express summer warm weather, the  green colors and some rainy days in June is Äntligen collection.

I used  Vitsippor sheet for my background, added some stamping and layering;

And the title I used from the scraps from Vintage Spring Basics collection

and the strips from Life in the Country scraps

Am I a savvy scrapper? Anyway it helps me to use every little bit of Maja papers.

Supplies: Maja Design – Äntligen collection ( Vitsippor, Bada i havet, Fika ute , Vårlökar).

2Crafty chipboard, Vilda Stamps, Petaloo flowers.

And I would like to share one more card I made inspired by these summer days.

I used Life In the Country Collection for it.

I prepared a video tutorial, so please enjoy it.

Happy Friday.  Jennifer Snyder here sharing my work on a Friday.   This piece uses the summery Antligen Collection.  Summer is such a short and cherished time for many of us who live in places that get snow.  brrrr.  For now,  I shall celebrate some melting of the snow by pulling out Antligen.

BCC 800

This is a photo I snapped of my niece a few years ago.  It’s summery and dreamy feeling like the collection.  My niece is a beautiful young lady so I wanted to surround her in feminine softness.

I used a few different pieces from the collection.  Featured here are the following: Antligen – Naturen Doftar (as my delicate background piece) , Pingst (as the accent strips of paper), and Vardagjamning (as the circle).

From there, I embellished with masks and molding pastes and gesso.

BCC close2 800

Here you can see that I sort of slapped molding paste on my page to frost the flowers. The image below is also a great close up of my masking with molding paste.  You can get a better feel for how delicate this page is in real life.

I tucked a few small pieces of an old book here and there.  The book is from 1895 – very old.  The pages are yellowed already with no distressing.  Time did that for me.

This is gift for my sister.  She can gaze upon it when she misses her baby girl who will be setting off for University in August.

Thanks for sharing a piece of the day with Maja Design, where we all anxiously await the newest LIMITED Collection, Sofiero.

Our June Mood Board is about the early summer with it’s blossoming flowers and blue skies. Based on the gorgeous Äntligen collection, this is the perfect opportunity to finally scrap your graduation and speechday photos.June-Mood-board

And here’s a little reminder of what our mood boards are used for…

Definition mood board – n

a board used by designers on which samples of various colours and textures are mounted to help in deciding which elements complement each other

We are using mood boards for our challenges. We truely believe in creativity and art at Maja Design. You are free to interpret the mood boards in any way you’d like. They are supposed to set you in an inspirational mood without too much controlling. We would like you to be inspired by the poems, words and photos. They are not given rules, they are just there as inspiration. They are all inspired by a Maja collection, but you are free to use any Maja papers you’d like as long as they follow the colour scheme. We highly encourage you to follow the theme of the mood board as well.

We are presenting a new mood board the first Tuesday of every month. We will be presenting all participating creations that fulfill the requirements below June 25th. We will also draw a winner who will be winning a Maja Design collection of their own choice in 6×6 or 12×12.

After your creation is done, take a photo and send it to without any watermarks (size 600×600). Include your full name and address in the e-mail together with what collection you would like if you win. Don’t forget to write down if you would like 6×6 or 12×12. We need your creation June 23rd at the latest.

We will only publish creations that fullfill the requirements!

And here comes inspiration created by our fabulous Creative Team…Andrea_Ewen

Hi all! I have been playing with the Äntligen collection. It has some lovely yellow and purple papers. I made a page about family because it means so much to me. And I just don’t mean my husband and my children, but also my sisters and their families.

FamiljAs you can see the papers are perfect for layering. I have added a punched white border. To make the alpha stickers fit on top of the chipboard window, I put it on a piece of transparency.

Familj narbild1Here is a close-up of my flowers.

Familj narbild2I painted the chipboard window in white gesso and then added some glossy accent on top. And before it dried I sprinkled some micro beads onto it.
