Goodmorning amazing Maja Design followers,

This time I want to show you a layout I made with four different collections, even though it doesn’t have as much layers as usual for me. The collections I used are Nyhavn {for the base of my layout}, Summer Crush & Vintage Summer Basics. Also I used the clock sheet from “Vintage Autumn Basics” For this layout I started by deciding which colors I wanted to use by choosing the flowers, chipboard pieces and design. I chose the colors teal, turquoise, white, cream and grey. On the picture you see one of my little nieces named Roos she is the daughter of my husbands sister. On this picture she looks really adorable but don’t let this picture mislead you because she is quit the little rascal….and a hand full for her parents. By the way she is about a year and a half old in this picture and she will be turning five in April 2016.

I started this layout by distressing the edges plus stitching on it, later on I sprayed with different shades of white & teal to end it with a stencil and paste. The beautiful lace pieces are by “Tresors de Luxe” and the chipboard pieces are by Dusty Attic. The Nyhavn collection has some really beautiful grey sheets in it which are really great for mixed media.

I was thinking of also using some pink in on this layout because her pants are that color but then I though well I will keep it in this color because I liked it this way. I hope you do too 😉 I embossed all my chipboard pieces with my Lindy’s Stamp Gang products. And I stitched all my borders of the papers only not the circles under need my picture.

Goodmorning everyone,

As winter is already upon us here in The Netherlands I am longing for Summer again, as much as I love to light candles at night and get all cozy and stuff! I really love summer so today I would like to show you a layout I made with the super adorable “Summer Crush”collection. For this layout I used a picture of our wedding that I have never used before, it’s one of us all not just Jeroen & Me but also little handsome Kevin. 😉

I took the pink/light pink/salmon colors in this collection because I wanted to go all romantic! The pretty lace I used are by Tresors de Luxe you will see more of those laces on my layouts since I am back on their design team again. Let’s have a closer look:

The cute little heart chipboard pieces are by Imaginarium Designs and off course the other pieces too. I feel so blessed to be part of their design team for the last three years. But new adventures are on it’s way for me. This layout is really into my comfort zone so happy I made it hihihi.

Those clocks are amazing on every layout and they are from the “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection. Do you see the cute car behind us? It was our wedding car and we also have a picture of us looking through the back window which I will probably scrap someday too.

Hello Maja fans!

I’m finally able to share a layout I made of my little girl – it took awhile to get those photos printed! I was very tempted to use the Vintage Baby collection, but thought I would have a bit of fun with a collection that’s not baby-based.

Here is the page, made with the gorgeous pinks from Summer Crush:

I choose this particular sheet “Off to meet him” as the background color matches my photo’s perfectly. I also liked how Marie has drawn the images such that my photo and clusters can be placed in the centre without being too cliche or flat. My background is very simple painting with pink and brown, and I had added my stenciled lace after the painting so that I get a nice contrast of white against the colors. Usually my stenciled designs get lost in the colors I add so this is one way of letting them stand out.

Some close-ups:

My layers of papers, made from scraps from the same collection. I also have a piece of chipboard which I tucked in between and colored with various dimensional and distress paints.

IMG_0375

My floral cluster to make it more feminine. Underneath is a spare die cut leaf which I had from a previous project made with Enjoying Outdoors.

And my title which I had colored with gelato and watercolor pencil to match that of the ladies in the corner.

And that’s all I have for today. Thanks for dropping by the blog!

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today. I really love to incorporate fabric in my scrapping creations and to create detailed, feminine projects. This time I decided to make a fabric cover CD case for any romantic photoshoot. I decided to go with Summer Crush collection.

lots of details: lace back side

all the chipboard I have used is from Dusty Atticthat’s how it looks inside (of course Maja papers in)

I have used the Summer Crush collection for this CD holder:
