Hello our blog friends. Today I would like to show you my first calendar for 2018. This one will be use mostly at home, that’s why I could add a little bit more of volume. Here it is :

Year 2018 CalendarI decorated only the cover – it is the easiest way for changing the boring version of calendar.

Year 2018 CalendarFirst I created the cover and then glued it.  Used some mixed media products, chipboards and my favourites add-ons.

Hello dear friends, Evgenia Petzer with you today. I am showing you another gift envelope that I made using some of my previously cut sheets of my Maja stash.

Love the lace details, the kraft die cuts, the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Wycinnaka chipboard.

mixture_envelope_Majasome close ups:soft_envelope_det1I have used the mixture of the collections of the Basics line (my left overs), but I want to draw your attention to these 2 sheets, that I love and keep on using more than my others:

this one for fussy cutting beautiful small roses

and this one for little extras for my projects

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

Did you celebrate the World Cardmaking Day last Saturday? I did, and among the cards I made I couldn’t miss using Maja papers! 🙂 And here it is:

But this time I selected the “plain” sides of sheets, as sometimes I like them even more than the patterned ones 😉 I layered two sheets from the Vintage Summer Basics and I simply LOVE how this 1946 sheet gives the perfect pastel shabby background with those white lines! I’m a rather poor media user and I would never ever brush the background myself to get those lines 😀

I added the wreath pattern using a stencil and white texture paste, then mounted the embossed sentiment circle in the centre and surrounded it with flowers. Then I added a lace bow and some bling 🙂

And I really love how dimensional it turned out!

So sometimes those plain papers are as gorgeous as petterned sheets when it comes to a perfect background, don’t you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stencil: Agateria; stamp: Lemonade: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; lace, bling: my stash.

Thank you for visiting today and see you later!

Layout

Hello my dear friends!!!

It’s Mary here with you today and I have a new layout to share with you.

When I found on Pinterest this beautiful photo imediately came to my mind the ”Vintage Summer Basics” collection with the beautiful romanting papers.  So, I choose the ”1921” paper and combined it with some beautiful flowers and a few metal embellishments. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil and I heat embossed the pattern with the ”Angel Wings Gold” Lindy’s Stamp Gang embossing powder. I continued by coloring my page with Lindy’s sprays ”Cattail Copper Brown” and ”Sea Grass Green”.

Closer 2

I heat embossed all the chipboards with the ”Midnight Bronze” Lindy’s embossing powder. As usual all the chipboards I used are 2crafty.

When everything was glued down, I added some Copper glass glitter.
