Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!
Did you celebrate the World Cardmaking Day last Saturday? I did, and among the cards I made I couldn’t miss using Maja papers! And here it is:
But this time I selected the “plain” sides of sheets, as sometimes I like them even more than the patterned ones 😉 I layered two sheets from the Vintage Summer Basics and I simply LOVE how this 1946 sheet gives the perfect pastel shabby background with those white lines! I’m a rather poor media user and I would never ever brush the background myself to get those lines 😀
I added the wreath pattern using a stencil and white texture paste, then mounted the embossed sentiment circle in the centre and surrounded it with flowers. Then I added a lace bow and some bling
And I really love how dimensional it turned out!
So sometimes those plain papers are as gorgeous as petterned sheets when it comes to a perfect background, don’t you think?
And here’s what I used:
Maja Design papers:
Other: stencil: Agateria; stamp: Lemonade: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; lace, bling: my stash.
Thank you for visiting today and see you later!
