Hi Maja fans! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. Since fall has really arrived in my country, I was in the mood to create a tag with an autumn feel to it. This time I used the gorgeous “Walking in the Forest” papers to make a tag with a warm colour palette of orange, green and cream.

1

For my background I used four different sheets of paper: ‘Fresh Air-bs’, ‘Knitted sweater’, ‘When leaves are…bs-‘ and ‘Die cut sheet’. I also made a doily from the ‘Die cut sheet’ with a Cheery Lynn die. The floral wreath was made with a die as well and is made of the gorgoeus ‘Knitted sweater’ paper.

5

Of course I just had to cut out a few butterflies and add them to my tag as well. The large butterfly was cut out from the “Die Cut Sheet”, whereas the tiny butterflies were cut out from one of the border strips from the papers.

Supplies:

Maja Design: patterned papers (Walking in the Forest collection: ‘Die Cut Sheet’, ‘When leaves are falling-bs’, ‘Knitted Sweater’, ‘Fresh Air-bs’); Prima Marketing: resin birdhouse, clock face; Tim Holtz: tag die, distress ink; Cheery Lynn: doily die; Memory Box: floral wreath die; Joy! Crafts: clouds dies; Other: seam binding.

Thank you for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!

Happy Monday!! I’ve been working with the new Vintage Autumn Basics collection and I can tell you how beautiful it is, this time I chose the burgundy and rose colors to make a page about my mom in the 70’s.DSC_4727

I did my usual paper draped to create dimension on my page and combined with some gesso and textured paste.DSC_4729

I made some fussy cutting from the Heritage paper(tag) and No.XVI paper(clocks). I used Scrapmatts chipboard.DSC_4728

Good morning Maja Friends. Elena is here to share some Fall inspiration with you.

MajaDesignFallElenaOlinevich  I adore this time of the year and so happy that I have managed to make some shots of my family members this year. No doubt that Walking In the Forest Collection suits so perfectly for these photos.

I did many layers, using some paper scraps as well as tearing

Also I added just partly some misting with Shimmerz Spritz, it reminds me about some frosty mornings, as well as the sky during the Autumn has its special deep dreamy color.

Beaded glass texture paste on the background adds some natural look as if you are on the walk in Forest. Branches and flowers, that is all that you need for an Autumn Bouquet.

I added acrylic embellishments – a Lamp and a Frame, aren’t they are prefect for a vintage feel?

No matter that it’s just a baby, I adore this truly masculine color combo, as it reminds me about warm cozy clothes and hot tasty cuisine.

Have a great week end and don’t forget to walk in the park or forest for some Fall inspiration too. I am sure you will love it.

Here are a few tips for creating this mini album.
First here’s a little tip for the layout of your pages. If you are a little lost when you make a mini album and want to more easily create a uniform and balanced project I suggest you do like me.
Cut several papers, labels and gather some coordinated embellishments. Then place your different pages in front of you and place your embellishments here and there.
Move your items until everything looks balanced. Then place your photos and paste everything.

Floliescrap-Autumn mini album-17To make the leaves I firstly printed on internet the shape and then I tracings on paper. Then just add an eyelet.
