Good morning, Maja Friends, and welcome to the blog today! ๐Ÿ™‚

Summer is traditionally the peak of the wedding season and therefore wedding cards and boxes are alwaysย  under construction on my desk ๐Ÿ˜€ Today I bring you one such box I made using the beautiful Everyday Life collection:

I selected pastel papers for the walls and lid, and also added embossed stripes of paper for more texture – don’t they look great?

On the lid I placed a cluster of flowers in matching colours that surround a stamped and heat-embossed sentiment. The leaves are die-cut from the Monochromes green papers:

For the inner walls of the box I chose the beautiful pastel beige leaves pattern, so perfect for the background! I added pockets for putting money into and also a panel for writing in short wishes:

Instead of the usual chipboard cake I put into my wedding boxes, I added a cute bridge with the newlywed couple on it and decorated the scene with mini roses and die-cut leaves:

I’m really happy with the result, the box turned out bright and elegant with pastel colours and pops of bold red both in the paper pattern and the flowers ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard: Anemone; dies: Spellbinders, Magnolia, CreaLies; stamp: Lemonade.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

Our most recently released collection is called Everyday Life, but it is just perfect to keep those special moments too! Here’s a page that I made preserving memories of our first sailing trip:

I chose the beautiful Make Memories sheet for the background and put a wide panel across the middle. Then I added torn strips of papers and tucked chipboard pieces and sequins in between to get a more dimensional effect.

I also applied marine-themed stencil patterns upon the middle panel using two colours of structural paste:

Upon that background I placed the photo, decroating it with flowers, linen knots, colour-stained cheesecloth and artclay anchor painted with acrylic paints:

I arranged the title using cut-out words:

Although the layout has many layers and embellishments, it’s still flat enough to be framed or stored in an album:

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Creafts, Blue Fern Studios; knots, anchor, mists: Prima Marketing; stencils, chipboard: Agateria; sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

There are several occasions to celebrate in June, like Children’s Day and Father’s Day, but I guess no other June day is so eagerly awaited by so many: the end of the school year ๐Ÿ™‚ Apart from marking the beginning of the much-desired summer holidays, it’s also a chance to thank the teachers. And so I made two cards for this occasion to bring to you today ๐Ÿ™‚

I used our latest release, the Everyday Life collection. In the first card I used chipboard elements embossed with gold ep – they add elegance to the simple design with the beautiful sunflowers bouquet image. I also added the book image to make the card more “teacherish” ๐Ÿ™‚

In the second card I applied a stencil pattern upon the background paper using translucent glitter paste – it added glam and texture while not obscuring the paper pattern. Then I added chipboard pieces and in the centre I put a stamped books image, decorated with the paper-piecing technique:

Even though the cards are layered and dimensional, they’ll still fit into envelopes! ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stamp, chipboard pieces, stencil: Agateria; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; pearls: ScrapbBerry’s.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later ๐Ÿ™‚

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m so thrilled to bring you another project thatย  I made using the brand new Everyday Life collection! This set is so versatile that it matches any occasion and so many various themes! Last time I shared romantic, feminine and flowery Mother’s Day cards and today I bring you a masculine layout featuring a totally different colour scheme – and it’s still the same collection ๐Ÿ™‚ Love it!

I chose the papers that match the colours from a photo of my hubby and our elder son learning to ride a bike ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m happy I was able to capture this moment, so “everyday” and natural and yet so special!

I chose a dark brown paper for the background, so that the photo and all the embellishments pop up. I cut some strips of papers and added a signature strip to make a design grid, put the photo upon them and filled the space with flowers.

I arranged the title using words cut out from one of the papers (don’t you think it’s a great idea? Plenty of words to choose from, too!):

I also included some other cut-out elements, and added gold paint splashes to brighten the whole:

I love how this photo portraits my husband as a loving and caring dad, making sure our boy feels safe and supported. And I’m glad I was able to scrapbook this moment with beautiful papers.

Here’s what I used for my layout:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; clock face: Maya Road; bling: Marianne Design; paint: Ecoline.

That’s all for today, have a nice day and see you soon!

Mother’s Day Cards

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today ๐Ÿ™‚

Mother’s Day is celebrated throughout the world, though on various days. In Poland the celebration comes on May 26th, so it’s high time to prepare some handmade cards for the occasion ๐Ÿ™‚

I made the card using our latest collection, Everyday Life – despite the name it’s perfect for special days too ๐Ÿ™‚

In the first card I used mini flowers patterns for the background and added a chipboard frame and some lace. On top of that background I put images cut out of one of the elements sheets, added gold thread andย  a chipboard sentiment that I coloured with markers into the ombre effect. I also covered the heart image with glitter:

For the second card I chose the beautiful rose-patterned paper and applied a heart pattern using a stencil and modeling paste. Then I filled the heart with mini roses in colours that matched the paper palette. Then I attached the same chipboard sentiment as in the previous card, but this time I only covered it with opalescent glitter, I completed the design with delicate lace and string bows:

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard pieces, stencil, paste: Agateria, lace: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!
