Hello Friends,

I can not believe that May is right behind the corner. This April was too cold in my place, so it means – create more floral cards to make the True Spring come faster.

I am still playing with Miles Apart collection. And I am on love with it.

I like the mix of hydrangea, roses and eucalyptus it has  in its patterns.

All you need is to take these beautiful papers and add some die cuts or enjoy ( as I normally do) a fussy cutting.

Hope you enjoy your week end and upcoming warm May days.

I used beautiful papers from Sofiero collection, it is so eye candy and soft.

I played blue pastel tones and added some soft pink accents and 2 types of lace.

I also added paper flowers and just a few leaves dies cuts

So the recipe is quite simple how it looks cute.

Hello Sweet Majafans,

Lenet here  and today I bring you something totally different .

Soon it will be Halloween , we don’t really celebrate this here in the Netherlands but it is done more and more every year.

Spooky parties , tours , decorating you see it more and more. but no trick or treat .

We have something simular in some parts  on november the 11th called Sint Maarten.  as soon as it gets dark children carrying lanterns the made at school ,

go singing from door to door collecting sweets. always very fun to see al those nice lanterns and hear them singing , especially the little children.

Unfortunately no Sint Maarten or Halloween this year due corona / covid.

But that didn’t keep me from making this Halloween card. Although Maja doesn’t have a  specific Halloween collection, the purple from Enjoying the Outdoors and the orange-ish one from Little Street Cafe are perfect for this.

So with any further ado  here is my Halloween card.

The witch is Wanda a stamp from Waltzingmouse the sentiment Happy  Halloween is from the same set. The frame is made with the Ornate Frame sizzix die from Tim Holtz altertions.

The bats are made with dies from some dutch brand I don’t know.

I hope you like my Halloween card.

thank you for visiting , take care and stay safe

Romantic layered card.

Hello Sweet Maja fans,

Lenet here and today I bring you this romantic card with lot’s of layers and fussy cuts tucked between them.

I never heard of fussy cuts  until  Amy called them like that.  So those little things  you cut out with a little scissor are fussy cuts. Love it.

For this card I used the Celebration 15×15 paperpad the fussy cuts are cut out of Engagement  from the Vintage romance collection.

Here a close up of the fussy cuts

And the fussy cuts tucked between the layers  to give it some depth.

I love to use layers on a card . I use foamtape between them to stick the layers together.

And a close up of the left uppercorner  with the fuzzy cuts.

Thank you very much for visiting , Hope you like  the card I made for you.

Stay Safe and see you next time.

Hello Maja Friends,

I Haven’t posted there for several months and just realized that the last day of Summer is today. This Summer was a bit strange due to different issues, but I hope that you have found a chance to enjoy it.

I enjoyed playing with the new collection Miles Apart.

I love the mute colors it has and the floral motifs that I immediately cut out.

Soon we will enjoy the Fall bright colors, however I adore such kind of flowers this collection has.

I made a couple of quite simple cards using the layers and fussy cutting techniques, however I like how they turned out.

I like to mix the papers from 12×12” and 6×6” size, as you can get the variations of one pattern and get the different look.

For my sentiment I used the titles of the each 12×12” paper sheet.
