Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

The weather has been quite unsteady recently, with cold wind, freezing rain and snow mixed with beautiful sunshine, which is rather typical for this time of the year in Poland 🙂 And so it happens that I’m sharing a winter-time layout on a beautiful spring day! But even though I used a photo taken during Christmas and a winter collection, Holiday in the Alps, with Maja papers characteristic versatility it’s all universal.

I first applied some handwriting pattern with a stencil and gold pearl paste upon the background Monochrome paper and then added a layered cluster of paper pieces and hand-made tags to mat the photo:

I added some flowers in between the layers and some epoxy stickers that perfectly match the stencil paste. Then I arranged the title with alpha stickers mounted on foam:

I completed the page with some metal and art clay elements and sequins for a bit of subtle glam:

I often use flowers in boy layouts and so I did here and I think it still looks pretty masculine 🙂 What do you think?

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stencil: Agateria; paste: Stamperia; flowers: Blue Fern Studios, Wild Orchid Crafts; metal pieces: Mitform; stickers: October Afternoon, Heidi Swapp; sequins: DpCraft.

That’s all for today, have a nice weekend and stay safe!

Hello Sweet Majafans.

First I want to  wish you a very Happy New year. I hope all your wishes will come true.

For my first post this year I bring you a wintercard.

I used a piece of the Sparkle sheet from the Joyous Winterdays  on the top and used Monochromes-shades of the Alps -Snow

for a double mat.

I used it to make the snowflake as well . this one is made with the Snowflake rosette die from Tim Holtz, the beautiful ornament behind it

is made with a die from Marianne design Creatables .

The flower and ribbon are from my own stash . The Winter Wishes sentiment is a stamp from Waltzing Mouse.

Here A close up , as you can see I used a lot of glitterglue to get a sparkly snow effect. this is done using Nuvo Glitter Accents.

The little bling heart and  the flowercenter are also from Nuvo.

Thank you for visiting hope you like what I made for you .

Hohoho Merry Christmas to all you Maja fans!

First I want to wish you all the very best for the upcoming holidays .

This will be my last post for this year and hope to see you all back  in the new  year .

I love to decorate my home  at christmas time  and make some decorations myself.

I made this banner using my favorite Christmas colors red and white from the new Christmas collection ,Holiday in the Alps and the monochromes of Holiday in the Alps.

I used a lot of shimmer and glitter , but with the dark and grey days at the moment and using artificial light it’s hard to catch it at the picture.

The letters , rosettes and lace-snowflakes are all treated with nuvo glitter accents.

Thank you for visiting , happy holidays and hope I see you back next year.

Good morning, dear Maja friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

With November ending, the holiday season is really close and I’m very happy about it, but while it’s still autumn, I wanted to make some non-winter and non-Christmas projects 🙂 However, that doesn’t mean I won’t be using wintery papers! Especially when the latest release, Holiday In The Alps, is so beautiful! And like all Maja collections, it’s versatile enough to be used for other themes than winter and Christmas.

And so I made a… wedding card 🙂

For my card I chose the sand and burgundy colours to make it festively rich. I layered Monochrome sheets beneath the beautiful damask of the top paper. I distressed all the edges for more texture. I also added a vintage label with metallic foil:

Upon such background I placed a layered die-cut wreatch of leaves and filled the centre with sand and burgundy flowers, completed with paper foil straws, vintage ribbon and acrylic crystals:

I also added a chipboard sentiment in the lower corner of the card and covered it with glitter to match the glamour style of the card:

I think the card turned out really nice, the rich damask background and shiny features of foiled and glitter elements. I also like the dimension, of course 🙂

What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers, vintage ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; die: Joy!Crafts; straws, vintage label, crystals: my stash.

This is my last autumn post, so for the next one I promise to make something more wintery 🙂

See you soon!

Good morning, Maja Fans, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I’m sure you have already seen our latest release, the Holiday In The Alps collection! 18 gorgeously vintage patterns, introducing the winter season with Christmas images and scenes of winter holidays in the Alps, feature only 3 colours, but still give rich and varied background for you winter and Christmas projects. But not only! Just take a look at my today’s layout:

Not a sign of winter, Christmas or even sports 😀 I used theme-neutral patterns to create this fun boy page with photos of my godson.

I layered three papers, tow of them hand-torn to create uneven, distressed edges and on that background I placed my photos and decorated them with flowers and metal embellishments:

I die-cut the title word in glitter foam and placed it upon a chipboard heart:

As a finishing touch I added some buttons here and there and splashed the layout with white acrylic paint.

I really like the way it turned out, light and cheerful 🙂 What do you think?

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: die: My Favourite Things; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; metal embellishments: mitform; chipboard: scrap.com.pl

Are you going use this collection for Christmas/winter projects only, or do you tend to use themed collections for other occasions too?

Hugs!
