035Hi there! Today I am back with a wedding card. I have used the beautiful blue and beige papers from the Vintage Spring Basic collection. And put them on a paperbag. The actually card to write the greeting on is inside the paperbag. I will show you later in this post. But first some details.
062
The lovely image (Wedding Tilda from Magnolia) is coloured with Distress Inks – re-inkers. And I have also used some Markers to colour the shadows around her (Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone and Antique Linen). For her dress I have used Tattered Rose and Walnut Stain. 018     The gorgeous flowers are from I am roses. I have added some Crackle Paint-Picket Fence on to them, and also attached a key-charm. The flower berries are from Kort & Godt, and the small roses (15 mm) are from WOC. The lace and buds are also from Kort & Godt.  022   On the heart tag I have fasten some seem binding ribbons that I have coloured myself. I mix water and Distress Ink – re-inkers, and spray it on the seem binding ribbon. Curl it up and let it dry. Then they get this old beautiful look.   052
On the actually card inside the paperbag I have stamped a mini Wedding Tilda. The swirls and the sentiment are from Stempelglede. I have used the brown Ink pad Memento – Rich Cocoa.   058
The dies I have used are from Spellbinders and Magnolia. The post stamp around the image and on the Lovely Fence is from Kort & Godt.038
I am still waiting for my baby to come. It is now two weeks untill he is expected! I am enjoying the days, and am so grateful that I can spend so much time colouring images and making cards, which I love! Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design Blog, and be sure to be back every day for more lovely creations with the amazing papers!

Hi there! Today I am back with a box I made for a card which I have shown here earlier. It is for a confirmand, and I was asked by her mother to make something special. So then I made this box in the same Maja Design papers as the card. It is quite simple, but it matches the card. I made the measurements for the box after measuring the card.

The papers I have used for my card and box are from the collection called Vintage Spring Basics – 8th of April (both sides), 9th of April.021

I have changed the card a bit to make it more personal for the confirmand, by adding some new texts and changed the tags.029

And I have also made a pocket inside the card, with a paper to write the greeting on. I have added her name and the date of the confirmation. The texts and swirls are made with stamps from Stempelglede.034

Under there is a little closeup to see the different layers on the card.035

And here are both the box and the card.039

Now finally the warm weather has reached Norway. We have had a long time with low temperatures and rainy weather, so this was much appreciated! Wish you all a wonderful Sunday, and thank you for visiting the Maja Design Blog.Camilla-sign

Hi there Maja fans! Today I want to show you a tag I made with some of the beautiful Vintage Spring Basics papers. They are just so soft, shabby and vintage looking, and I love it! I have used a 12″ cardboard and two Tim Holtz dies to make it. From the front you can hardly see the 3D-effect of the birdcage, so therefore I have taken some close up photos, so you could have a better idea of how it really looks like from all angles.023

For the bird cage I have actually cut out five cages from the die, and one more from the Maja Design Papers to have on the top. The edges are painted with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence, to get the shabby crackle look. On the papers I have also inked the edges with Walnut Stain, to get that old look.007

The sentiment on the bottom of the tag is cut out from the paper “Days to remember”. While the flowers are cut out from 1th of May, and the butterfly from 6th of May. I have inked the edges and painted over them with Crackle Paint-Clear Rock Candy.036

Under you get a more closer look of some of the details. 044
