Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to share with you another masculine card create with the “Celebration” Collection. I couldn’t stop to create this type of project. The paper is just perfect and all of the different shades, patterns fit together perfectly.

I didn’t use many flowers recently. I think it’s a time for some changes. I wish to create some layered projects with a lot of laces, flowers … maybe canvas or layout.  Would you like to see any specific collection using by me ? Just let me know xD

Hugs, Paulina

Well hello there Maja Design Fans,

Today it’s me again on this lovely blog to show you a layout I have created with the newest collection. I really enjoy creating with it because it’s so versatile. Lately I am hooked on vintage pictures especially from vintage clothing but also lace umbrella’s, beautiful hats with flowers and amazing dresses they made in the sixties and before and after…so I thought why not make a layout with it, it totally went great with the colors of the “Celebration”collection and the new flowers from 49 and Market what a wonderful combination that is right?

For the background sheet I used the Party bs sheet on that sheet I added some script stamp and later on I added a brick stamp after that I used some pink spray and to soften that up I sprayed with white too. The I ripped the sheet with the flowers “Good times”up and added them on both side the left a little smaller then the right one behind the flower sheet I also ripped the pink sheet to create more demension.

The chipboard I added was already black I just used my waxes on them the give them a shimmer and more depth and also a little color so they would not look out of place. I also used my favorite stencil on my background and at the end I added some crystal drops by nuvo in the color antique rose {which is my favorite} on that same stencil on the round parts that is….

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Party, The Table is Set, Good Times and the 6×6 paper pad.

Thank you so much for your visit I hope I have inspired you to play with your Maja Design papers you have in you stash or even order new products I have used here.

Love xoxo

Hello Maja fans!

Mary with you today to share my inspiration for February. I made a soft blue tone layout with lots of flowers, laces, chipboards and metal embellishments.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across that beautiful and mysterious photo of a girl with a horse. And, the new gorgeous ”Celebration” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I choose the ”You’re Invited” paper for my background and I added some layers with the ”Party” paper and the ”Anniversary” using both sides of it.

First, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with white crackle paste and a stencil. I made some stamping here and there and continued by coloring my page with the ”Blue Hawaiian Blue” Lindy’s Gang spray.

I painted the flourish chipboards and the title with the Sparks ”Magical Pond” acrylic paint. When dried, I gently rubbed on them some ”Vintage Gold” Wax. The ”Flower Stamens” chipboards were also painted with the Sparks ”Raven Black” and they were rubbed first with the ”Blue Velvet” Wax and then with the ”Vintage Gold”. The chipboards I used, are from Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some crystal and turquoise glass beads and sprinkled some glitter. I final touch was made with some splatters with white ink.

Papers used:

That’s all for today, my friends!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello, and welcome! How is your day going? I’m so happy you’ve joined us at the Maja Design Blog! It’s Nancy today, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be here with you. While looking through my recent projects, I realized it’s been a very long time since I’ve used one of my favorite collections, Vintage Autumn Basics. The beautiful purples and mauves from this lovely collection always call to me, and are the inspiration for my card.

The papers are so versatile that twine is the only embellishment that is not created from the collection.

The roses and leaves are handmade using design paper. I hope to have a new rose tutorial ready for you on my next post. I meant to have it for you today, but because we have the flu in our home the smallest things (like editing photos) seem insurmountable.  Happily, we are all recovering, so a tutorial will be following shortly.

The layered heart is die cut from design paper, then stitched on the sewing machine and fanned out to create dimension.

The vintage image, sentiment, and flourishes are also from the paper collection. You can see how easy it is to create a card filled with coordinating embellishments with nothing except a pack of Maja Design papers!

A twirly twine bow adds a final frilly touch.

Maja Design Papers Used:

Thank you so much for stopping by! It’s a great pleasure and an honor for me to join you on the blog. I hope you have a day filled with sunshine and wondrously joyful moments!

Hugs,
