Hi everyone! Here I am with some confirmand cards for boys. I have used the fantastic Denim & Friends Collection!

Firstly I have two cards. I have cut out the shape of the vest, and used a Sizzix die for the bow. The text stamp is from Ett Trykk.

As my pupils are all Confirmands this year, I made them all a card.

I have painted with some white gesso here and there.

I also made some lollipop cards for two of the boys.

Here you also see how I decorate the back of the lollipop cards.

And here is the last one I have for today, the book card. A colleague of mine gave it to her son.

I made the front like the cards.

And here is the inside of the book card.

I have used many of the Denim & Friends papers, and also the monochrome papers. Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today!

With love,

Goodmorning Maja Design Fans,

Yesterday some of us at the Maja Design creative team are guests designers at the More Than Words challenge blog! I totally love this months challenge because I love using frames and the word memories on my layouts as much as I can. For this layout I used the always amazing “Denim & Friends” collection. If you click on the pink words above it will take you to the link at their blog.

For the frames and the text I used some beautiful The Dusty Attic chippies which I colored with gesso, acrylic paints and rust paste. First I added a layer of clear gesso on my background sheet later on I added some lindy’s spray after that I added a script stemp and a stencil with some crackle paste. The flowers are by 49 and Market & Little Birdie.

I used some clear gesso on my background sheets after that I added some white spray that I moved from the left to the right with a brush. When that dried I took a script stamp with some grey ink and stamped it randomly on my background after that I added a stencil with paste.

At the end I added some art stones and some of the clocks from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection.
Maja Design papers used: Sunbleached, Fashion bs & Stonewashed

Thank you very much for your visit, I hope I have inspired you to go and create something beautiful with your Maja papers. Have a wonderful & sunny day!

Love xoxo

Hello everyone!

Kerstin is back with a vintage layout. I used a very old photo from my ancestors, a beautiful memory for our family.

The latest amazing Maja Design Collection ‘Celebrate’ http://majadesign.nu/products/celebration/
was very suitable to my photo to this very special day so many years ago.

It’s always a good idea to create with frames on scrapbooking layout.

I added a printed chipboard frame on the lower right side with a very wise saying in it.

The second frame around the photo was made with cutting dies and old crafty paper in weathered look.

 some details
fussy cutting flowers from paper sheet ‘You’re invited’ and flowers with
Sizzix Thinlits die ‘Small tattered flowers’ from the papper sheet ‘Glamour bs’
a frame made with craft paper, that’s leftovers from a cutting die
a printed chipboard frame with a wise saying on transparent foil from Scrap FX
Thanks for your visit!
Happy crafting!

Hello dear friends!

Mary here with you sharing my latest layout for my May inspiration. This time I made a colorful page with lots of flowers, laces, chipboards and metal embellishments and I choose a dark paper to combine them. I don’t really remenber if I have already told how much I love that combination. The contrast is just amazing!

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that beautiful photo. And, the new gorgeous ”Celebration” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the ”Ephemera” paper on the back side. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso and I applied a small amount of white gesso behinde my combosition. When it was dried, I added some texture with paper texture paste and a stencil.

I made some stamping here and there and then I heat embossed the patterns with the ”Venus Violet Blue” and the ”Sunset Yellow Orange” Lindy’s Gang embossing powders. Continued by coloring my page with the ”Tea Pot Purple” and the ”Magnolia Magenta Gold” Lindy’s sprays.

I painted the ”Small Scroll #2” flourish chipboard with the Sparks ”Iris Potion” acrylic paint.  The ”Clockworks Small” chipboard was also painted with the metallique ”Steampunk Copper” paint. The chipboards I used are Dusty Attic.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and sprinkled some glitter on them. The final touch was made with some splatters with white ink.

That’s all for today, my friends!

Thank you for stopping by!
