Jennifer Snyder here to share a pretty purple card I made using  the Enjoying Outdoors collection from Maja Design.
This collection features exquisite shades of purples and greens making a fun and versatile collection.  The images on the collection inspire year-round crafting possibilities.
I’m a purple fan so the papers in Enjoying Outdoors really speaks to me.
The image above shows the papers I used from Maja Design – Enjoying Outdoors.  Click here to see the entire collection of gorgeous papers.
Maja Design – What a Beautiful Day (12×12 size)
Maja Design –  Picking Flowers ( both A and B side 12×12 size)
The design has beautiful delicate details.  Because of this, I left my embellishments on the plain and simple side so that the papers had an opportunity to shine.

A little about the accents on this card…the  featured embellishment I chose is a chipboard butterfly from Creative Embellishments.  I left the chipboard piece in it’s original color with no treatments because the kraft color of the chipboard was a nice accent.
The decorative circle die is from Graphic 45 – Staples Collection – Square Tag and Clock.  I chose to leave out the clock face.
I also have some pink adhesive pearls as finishing touches and hemp cord to add an element of nature to the card. .

Hello again Sweet Maja fans.

As you could read in yesterdays post of Maja ,  Maja Design is one of the sponsors of the More Than Words challenge and some of us Maja girls had the honour to make some inspirational

work for the main challenge.

The subject is Memories and in addition  you need to uses frames.

Most memories for me are precious, especially this picture of my two kids. My son has autism so not really a cuddler and doesn’t really like physical contact.

I wanted a nice picture from the both of them and he  spontaneously gave her a big hug.  Although they are grown up now ,this still is one of my favorite pictures.

I used some raisinframes I once bought in our local  dollar store, added some embellies and flatback pearls

Tucked some small frames behind the flowers

And a little frame peeping through a tear in the paper with a clock symbolizing how fast time goes by.

Thank you for visiting today

I hope I gave you some inspiration with this Lay out,  Don’t forget to drop by tomorrow  for some new gorgeous work of one of the other Maja Girls.

the papers I used are from the vintage summer basics, flowers from Wild orchid crafts  and the frames come from the local dollarstore.

Good morning, Maja friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

In May Maja is the sponsor for More Than Words challenge blog and some of us from the Maja DT took part in the May Main Challenge. The subject was “Memories” and the additional requirement was to use frames. And here’s my take:

Working on this layout was such a pleasure! Memories after all are essential to our hobby, and who doesn’t love using frames? 🙂 Here I combined turqouise and sand papers from the Denim&Friends collection and followed this colour combo, adding touches of gold and white.

First I layered distressed papers for the background and splashed them with golden-brown Prima mist.

Then I mounted my photo upon chipboard frames, randomly selected from my stash and filled with bits of papers:

I completed my design with a flower cluster and buttons:

I also included some acrylic gems and art clay embellishments, like this wing that I coloured with acrylic paints for an ombre effect:

I really like the way it turned out, with my favourite colours and a favourite person in the photo 😉

And here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: chipboard: Scrapiniec, Wycinanka; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; mist: Prima; buttons: Lemoncraft; clay molds: Prosvet; clay: Martha Stewart; gems, stems: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and drop by tomorrow for more inspiration from my talented friends!

Hello everyone,

today i have quiet a different card to share. Its a envelope style card which also serves as a tiny mini album.I made two envelopes and attached it together and added a ribbon closure.I have used one of my favorite  collection “vintage baby”,i guess its been few years since its released but its so popular and i still keep seeing projects with this everywhere,so after hoarding it for so long i decided to use it:)

Maja designs papers are so sturdy and double sided ,so i used the paper itself to make the envelopes instead of cardstock,in this way it looks more elegant.

The inside of the envelopes has two photo mats one small and one big.The inside of the envelope can be filled with gift cards,or journal tag etc.

Maja papers used:Cherish , Our little miracle , Baby shower bs , Ephemera cards

Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m up on Maje Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection. I chose a photo of my father with his parents and his sister taken in 1959.

Family Street by Pascale B.

I tore the Champagne sheet in three pieces, and I glued them to the Anniversary. Then, I stamped the background with a brown ink before priming it with clear gesso.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let it dry naturally.

I die-cut some leaves in a watercolor paper, that I colored with green and brown inks.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo as well as sisal. I started to build the composition with different elements: flowers, doily’s scraps, leaves and a black street sign.

When happy, I colored lightly the background with green, brown and pink inks.

To finish the layout I added some microbeads.
