Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today πŸ™‚

International Women’s Day that is coming in March is perhaps not much celebrated due to its historical context, but I got inspired by this date to create cards for women with positive messages, expressing support and encouraging, that can be given to any important woman in our lives πŸ™‚

I made all the cards using the Bohemian Harmony collection that gives such a nice boho vibe to your projects! All cards feature images from the Snapshots paper as focal elements. Forn the first card I chose the beautiful image of a girl bathing in the sea in the sunset, and added a die cut sentiment and tags.

In the second card I used squares punched out of various papers to make a patchwork-like background for the image and stamped sentiments (which say: “Never give up” and “You can do it, who if not you”):

And finally the third card: I placed the image in a chipoard embossed frame and added some mini flowers that refer to the flowery background paper, and hand-cut tags. The stamped sentiment says “You are awesome”:

All the cards are perfect for any occasion, or even on no occasion! πŸ™‚ It’s always nice to send someone a supportive message.

Here’s what I used for the cards:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Crealies, Spellbinders, Kesi’art; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard, stamps: Agateria, sequins, string: my stash.

That’s all for today, see you soon!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today πŸ™‚

February is in full bloom and St. Valentine’s Day approaching quickly πŸ™‚ And since cards play a major role in this holiday, IΒ  bring you two samples for inspration:

I made both cards using the Miles Apart collection and focused on blending my embellishments into the background papers. And so, in the first card I cut the paper so that the top of the printed house is visible, and arranged die cut motives of clouds and a balloon so that they look as if floating above the house. Then I filled the remaining space with die cut letters that I arranged like a crossword puzzle, and mini heart sequins:

In the other card I incorporated the flower cluster into the bouquet printed in the background paper. The flowers, both printed and dimensional, are a subtle companion to the glitter foam heart with toothpick handles πŸ™‚ I finished the card off with a stamped sentiment and opalescent sequins:

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; dies: My Favourite Things, Marianne Design, Little B; stamp: Agateria; punches: DpCraft; sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting ans see you soon!

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today πŸ™‚

Today I bring you another project made using the latest collection, Bohemian Harmony – a birthday card in the boho style πŸ™‚

It’s a very simple card with neutral ecru and beige background with beautiful subtle patterns of the Boho papers. I decorated the flower cluster with punched tabs, crystal twigs and linen string:

Then I added a mini macrame I made using thick cotton thread and a toothpick πŸ™‚

I finished the card off with a chipboard sentiment covered with opalescent glitter and glitter sequins.

I really like the way it turned out, even my first macrame ever πŸ˜‰ Beautiful papers in the background helped to create a delicate card in neutral colours.

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima; vintage ribbon: Wild Orchid Crafts; punches: DpCraft; chipboard: Fabryka Weny; string, thread, sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today πŸ™‚

On January 21st and 22nd we celebrate Grandparents Days in Poland. Any kid blessed with grandparents knows how much they mean for them, and especially in Poland grandparents are often very much involved in upbringing of the young generation, looking over grandchildren when parents go to work. There’s no gift that would equal they amount of love and care grandparents share with their families, but I’m sure anything handmade would be of great value for them πŸ™‚ And so for this incoming celebration I created a set of chocolate boxes:

I made the boxes using the Bohemian Harmony collection, perfect for both feminine and masculine projects, with this trendy eco boho vibe to them πŸ™‚ For the Grandma box I used the flower bouquet patterned paper that provided beautiful background for the hearts pattern I added with a stencil, the flower cluster and embossed sentiment:

I decorated the box for Grandpa with gears pattern upon the striped pattern paper, the flower cluster with newspaper print and metal leaves to make it look more masculine πŸ™‚ linen string and matte gold sequins:

Inside the boxes, apart from the chocolate pocket, I included tags for writing in wishes:

I really like the way these turned out, serving both and gift packaging and best wishes cards πŸ™‚

Here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers: Prima, Petaloo; leaves: Prima, my stash; stamps, stencils, chipboard: Agateria; ribbon: Rayher; string, sequins: my stash.

Wishing all the best to all Grandparents around the world – that’s all for today, see you later!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today πŸ™‚

Christmas is here! πŸ™‚ This evening many people around the world will gather at their family tables to celebrate the Christmas Eve supper – something I always look forward to through the year. I love the atmosphere, the smells of delicious meals, the lights and the decor of the holidays. And today I bring you something I made to decorate my house – a hanging ornament:

Of course, I used the Happy Christmas collection πŸ™‚ I die cut the ornament shape out of various papers and glued them together into an accordion:

…but went only half way through with it:

The other half is flat and decorated with stamps, poinsettias and snowflakes:

I also attached a small pearl and a tassel at the end:

As it is double-sided, it serves many purposes: you can hang it on the Christmas tree as a bauble or somewhere else in the house as a decor piece. And I really like how the accordion form showcases various paper patterns πŸ™‚

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Spellbinders, Sizzix; stamps: Agateria; tassel: Marianne Design; pearls: my stash.

That’s my last post this year, so let me wish you a very merry and blessed Christmas, spent with loved ones, and all the best in the new year!

See you in January! πŸ™‚
